I had a powercolor 5870pcs+ and could get eyefinity to work properly after a month and a half of going back and forth thiw amd and powercolor color, power color blamed the Monitors all three I was using and AMD pointed at power color, Well I 've "updated" to a MSI 470 twin frozzer, realized how many textures, visual part I was missing out on I gave ATI a chance and what a failure in quailty.
I have the exact same problem on my ASUS HD5870 1GB v2 ...... it's getting worse.... I have not overclocked at all... In the beginning I saw these artifacts now and then in some games.... Now it's in any 3D application... getting worse and worse.... I call defect hw and rma....
Ok card replaced with 2x 5870s in crossfire, and all is now good :) The retailer couldn't even get the card to POST so must have been worse than I thought!
No, it doesn´t look like the card is running hot. Then there would be such errors everywhere, but when you watch carefully you can see that these errors only occur on the water surface.
Normally I would suggest it´s a driver issue. Weird.
It's not just on the water, due to the resolution it can't be seen as clearly as here, but if you look carefully there is more artifacting on the cave walls, and over the 2 engineers as well.

Oh, my bad!
Are these artefacts also on the characters, it´s not clearly visible in the video.
Could someone have overclocked your card?
Usually these artefacts occur when you overclock the Rams of the GPU (probably because they are running too hot).
