Excellent modelling and animation! I was sort of disappointed at the end, because I was hoping the plane would take off and start flying around. Very professional though, nonetheless.
As silly as it sounds I never actaully thought to make the plane take off! I have actually modelled and rigged the undercarriage, but due to the way that I rigged the flaps there was a confict so I decided to not show that as part of the animation which is probably the reason why thinking about it that the plane remains grounded.
Use Raytrace material and then use a falloff map, Change Falloff Direction to Fresnel falloff and your there. Basically the amount of relflection changes based on the angle. Black is none and white 100%.
realy cool

What would you like to know?, all the blocks are extrusions converted to poly and chamfered.
The propoller and wings are basic IK setups.
The lighting is basic GI using a skylight and area spot. Materials are basically Brazil (raytrace) with frensel fall off.
If there is somthing specfic please let me know.
