@toetouching well it wouldn't be impossible. In 2006 she had competed an onodi, an aerlial walkover, a full twisting backhaspring, a handspring and a layout all conected without the smallest hesitation. So who knows what she'll be doing in 2012

Except for the dismount Catalina looks great....it would be nice to see her in London....It would bring back some integrity to a sport that seems to favor the younger and smaller teenagers.....I will just have to wait and see.

I absolutely love Catalina but the chinese were far superior this time. the good thing is that she just came back and I doubt she was really ready for the Worlds, this exercise cannot even compare to the one of Athens and gymnastic has evoluted dramatically in the last years. After a full year of hard training I'm sure she can win another gold on the beam. Go for it Catalina, I will cheer for you all the way to the Olympics!!!

How people can compare her to Chinese gymnasts is beyond me. The Chinese girls are younger and more flexible but they do NOT ROCK BEAM like it's floor like Ponor does.... Great wonderful beam for her comeback.. .Bravo Catalina....

I'm really rooting for her in beam finals, she really deserves to finally become a world champion - nobody was ever so solid on beam all the time like she is, and her combos (especially in 2006 euros) are sick!

I agree that she has slight form issues but come on - compared to the other gymnasts she's A BEAST on the beam!

Catalina Ponor não competia desde 2005 (acho), volta com tudo e tirou a nota mais alta até agora. 15.000; Será que esse mundial será como no do ano passado, com muitos erros, muitas notas baixas. Pena que não temos a Mustafina.
