This look so interesting, i want to make this! What exactly does the dried reconstituted mushrooms taste like, as compared to the fresh ones? Other than convenience, is there any other motivation for opting for them? Thanks and keep the videos coming :)!!
@shartanne To me the dried mushrooms have a deeper, more intense flavor than the fresh ones. I use them mainly b/c of their flavor, and also for the fact that you can keep them for a much longer time than the fresh ones :)
My mom usually slices the mushrooms before she fries them so that it would be easier to eat. And she usually drenches the bean curd with hot water until it runs clear cause she says you don't know what type of oil the factory used to make the bean curd :)
Made this for dinner tonight. Thanks for the recipe! What a revelation for me to be able to cook bean curd at home!

I like mushrooms but that looks grim, like soggy peeled off wallpaper.
Maybe it tastes so good that looks don't matter.
Thanks look forward to your next video.
