1st off we are not phsycos lol just dedicated fisherman
2nd his kayak is a X-factor
3rd yes people flip out of their yaks but is usually when they fall asleep lol but mostly when paddling back in thu the breakers right at the shore
4th the rods range but most use 7ft rods to get around the bow of the yak i use a 8ft allstar inshore special with a abu garcia 7000 C3 with 30lb mono and leader is 6-7ft of 250lb mono
hey im 15 and im bout to get a kayak for fishing and i want one with thats got lots of space and room and that is great for fishing? and i kinda iek the yellow one int his video . what kind is it
Very odd. I have trouble catching SEABASS in a Kayak, let alone a 6'5 shark. Very nice, also nice to see you release em'. Good luck in future fishing trips.
Sharks are plentiful in Texas, at least for now--probably due to the lack of interest from commerical fisherman. Most in the know prefer they are released. There's pleanty of other fish that are much better table fare. It's good to see someone else concerned.
We catch and release 99% of the time, they just have a hook in the side of the mouth for a while. Thank you for your concern. We are conservationist also, should have made the C&R clear.
must be really awkward in a kayak doing that

beautiful looking fish bud! great to hear you catch and release, but what kind of bait or lures do typically use when fishing these reef sharks?

Blacktip are excellent table fare. I dont keep most that I catch, but do keep one from time to time.

We don't have Great White Sharks in Texas. Possibly offshore off the continental shelf but not inshore within reach of kayaks, thank goodness.
