  • this video is not AMM... the mechanic always need used AMM to work in the Airplane!!!! to used torque Wrench ever need be QC INSPECTOR watch the torque Applied at wheels and brakes!!!!

  • few!! takes ten seconds to knock the wheel nuts off a car with the rattle gun!

brake fan! fancy hub caps. wonder what the torque on the centre nut is? huuuuuge

    fuck machining those discs!

Aren't they surpose to crack test the stub axle? I saw a 737 that's nose wheel fell off whilst taxiing and the steel A300m had cracked because the factory machining had overheated it!

  • never deflate a tire and sit infront of it ! , the mobil grease 28 he is using is pretty toxic ! always wear gloves !!! .... good demonstration .... -_-

  • Like a whole maze!

  • I didn't know that A320's had such nice rims beneath those stuff ;) Subscribed

  • i work as an European Mechanic etc

    1 don't forget the gloves

2 working on planes much easier then on v12 or v8 or v6 engines...........!!!! changing a wheels and brakes much easier but time consuming

The most important part NO COMPETITION and there is / will be WORK

Airplanes have been designed for maintains vs. cars.

Those designers (and hope you all die in a car accidents) are FUCKING ASSHOLES from a geico and i hope I'm speaking on behalf of all automotive mechanics

  • @cataha Car Designers

  • I don't really think I'd want to be an aircraft mechanic, but I do love knowing more about an aircraft's parts. Is the Impeller for cooling purposes?

  • So Now i know that the break of an airplane break Have Fan.

    By the way nice Channel

  • Oh thanks god, yesterday, my yet get pounched, now i know how to reapir this, thx uploader, now i can fly again!

  • Now i know how to change my plane's tires when it goes flat... Lol!

  • 1:39 Insert a tool... A stick. haha.

  • Isnt the blonde haired guy a happy chappy? Looks like hes got the weight of the world on his shoulders!

  • @xxJohn1977xx he has, if he does something wrong he could kill hundreds

  • Nice invisible protective gloves they have!

  • @barluenxo Not needed or required for real men. It also gives the mechanic a better feel and dexterity that gloves prevent. Gloves are only needed if working on very sharp or hot items.

  • @smacman68 Lack of knowledge is a very dangerous thing, Mr. real man. Chemical compounds like grease, sealant, mastinox etc.. are not the best thing to have under your finger nails when you go home. And then yes, have a better feel of your lady's skin, not a big chunk of hardware. Good instructional video though.

  • @barluenxo I am a mechanic, I work on thigns like this all the time. There is nothing toxic or harmful in this video. Nothing. Gloves only get in the way. And a stiff little black brush gets your nails clean.

  • @smacman68 Nice to know a colleague, cause I am an aircraft mechanic as well for the last 14 years. Nytril gloves may protect your skin from pads carbon dust, protects your liver from the white spirits once is in contact with your skin, and for last, protects your biggest organ the skin, from the lithium on the grease. The video is very good, but on my humble opinion, they should use gloves.

  • @barluenxo Yeah, your probably right. Don't get me wrong, I use gloves all the time, but I work with a bunch of "old timers" whos hands are beyond salvation, and they constantly razz me about my "girley hands". I play guitar for fun, and my fingertips have calloused up perfectly, and I actually wear gloves to "protect" my calouses! lol I know it sounds goofy, but it's true. I have had them torn off before and there goes a years worth of dead skin. Great video though. Good mechanics.

  • @smacman68 probably their misses do not worth the fingering, if you know what I mean! Hope you play rock! Take care!

  • love such videos...i love to dis mental and assemble such complicated machines very much

  • Excellent

  • haha, "torque adapter". -> Breaker bar :)

  • how many N/m of torque are required to secure lock the wheel??

  • Comment removed

  • @254lele I've always wondered as well. Probably a lot less than we think.

I wonder how much PSI is inside the tyre.

  • @1D0N Oh wait it's visible at the end on the display. It's around the 200psi mark.

  • @1D0N probably more than 200 N/m I think,

    anywaychinese food tonight was crap

  • Is green hyd system selected??, but the mechanic pushed the yellow emdp button .. :) .. only the yellow and blue are posible operate with engines shutdown :)

  • @josacasa All three systems work on the ground if need be. There is a yellow electric pump and blue electric pump. Yellow will drive the PTU to drive the green system, it can be disconnected to drive yellow only if need be

  • I like how he said removed the wheel when they were removing the brake assy.

  • so the A320 has a fan to cool the brakes?

  • Toyota has better breaks 100 times than this...

well, japanese is talking, you know.

  • you have no gloves

  • How about no freaking fans! less work and I can lift the Brake assy by myself lol. I'm joking.

  • Too bad u didn't mention the tools but thank you. i wanna know the name of the tool which helped remove the wheel. Is it a Johnson Bar?

  • That'll be useful whenever I need to change a flat tyre next to the runway, anyone know where the spare tyre is? And whether it is a safety tyre? I've looked everywhere for mine but I can't seem to find it.

  • Great job! I'm waiting for new movie
