Outstanding performance by all here, my generations know how to hold on to their glory days really good - Boy's this brought back some good memories, definitely straight off into my fav's. Mark
I don't like the vocalising on this. Where are the screams? I guess if you're not over 21 it helps. Beside this, I absolutely worship the Outsiders and Time won't let me reamins a classic despite who plays it!
I really like your band- I'm class of 72 and your class was my heros- musically, morally and ...- I really like your choices- I was a DJ(college) and in bands since 67(13) and I'm a hack playing these songs- I appreciate the work and love of the music- I only heard this through a tube car radio so You sound way better than the original! Thanks Bob
Man, you guys are really good. keep at it! I am 16 and I'm taking bass guitar lessons. Bass is my second instrument. I am first chair Saxophone in my high school. I've always been into the feeling the rhythm more than playing cool parts. Don't get me wrong...cool parts are fun too, but actually getting into the beat is the best feeling ever, that's why i chose Bass. I love your bass guitarist's sound and the way he bends the notes. ROCK ON!
Jesse, glad to hear you like 60's music! I am actually the bass player. Thanks for the kind words. The bass I am playing is a vintage 1966 Guild Starfire with Dark Star pick ups and flatwound strings. It is my favorite bass. Good luck with your lessons!
Hey I'm in a 60s cover band and we do this number as well. Awesome job brothers! Ain't it cool fun? We got a big "feel good" gig coming up in Feb. at the ol' stompin' grounds...our Civic Auditorium! And I can't wait! Time won't let me! (Btw, class of '69 here. ; )
I can't. No way. If not then why do our kids, the alternative rockers or "the new garage band" folk.....LOVE this stuff so much? Both my children, one 32 the other 28, each have "their" style (alternative and R&B) ...but both LOVE listening to most of this stuff whenever it comes on the radio. The kids tell me that when they really want to have fun...they party behind this music here. : )
That is why it is some of the best music. It appeals to all ages. You would think more peopole hiring bands would realize that! What is the name of your band?
The Lee Riders. We're from Hanford, CA. Of the six guys now....there are three from the original group. They were one of many good bands of the "Melco Enterprises" days here in the good ol' San Juaquin valley. We blew it the last time we played and didn't hook up the DAT to the board. This next one we will and post a cut or two. : )
I´m from Brasil this music is great and the performance of the band is great too .
