I love the fact that David Yates support Ron/Hermione and because of that he makes little scenes for them in the movie. Because this part with the piano and the deleted scene of Ron and Hermione throwing stones at the lake aren't in the script made by Kloves (who's a Harry/Hermione shipper and in the script there's a lot of moments when Hermione is touching Harry, or Harry watch Hermione and he though that she looks beautiful).

The way Ron looks at her, and then quickly looks away when she turns to him...it's so completely like a seventeen-year-old boy in love (and given that she's Emma Watson's Hermione, who can blame him?) Good acting from Grint, showing that he can handle more than the funny-silly-sidekick stuff. I love all the Harry/Hermione scenes in the films but I wish Ron, and his very important friendship with Harry, had had more space. At least this lovely Ron/Hermione scene makes up for that a little.

I heard there was a rock skipping scene that wasn't kept in the movie but might be on the DVD, where Hermione doesn't know how to skip a rock on water and Ron is good at skipping rocks so he ends up teaching her something, and they end up touching hands a bit again. Just thought it was interesting that maybe the director purposely had Hermione teach Ron something and then later on, have Ron teach Hermione something, maybe to show how caring and reciprocate their relationship is.
