You put the mentos in the soda, it has little like... "craters" on the top of them, which when soda gets into them it's enough room to make it gas and bubble like that, there are so many they it just happens so quickly and through such a small hole it blows out.

When you chew the mentos there are no more craters, it's all messed up now.

So you can HOP OFF if you think this will happen when you drink coke and eat mentos.
