Just out of curiosity, how is that ambidextrous play? I mean, all you're really doing is using the other hand to toss the ball up while its on a racket... even people that just use 1 hand can do that.
I realize its just the serve, but if you're doing ambidextrous play, you should work on serving with both hands
Don,great stuff----once again,I feel like I've discovered a brother-in-arms I never knew I had(but suspected/hoped was out there somewhere),,,,,or like the gifted savant who finds the commraderie in others like himself ,,,,,,,your serving method is more novel and superior to my 2-racquet serving technique which involved me hoisting up the ball with my extended left-hand holding racquet fingers for the toss(in a rhy ,,,,,,
But are you sure it's less harmful for the arm(s) ?
With two hands on the racket your racket weigh less during the preparation (the opposite arm pulling or pushing at the start), there's no such help with the 2RT(two-racket tennis). And what about the follow through ? In a complete and aggressive forehand your left arm (for a right handed)get close to your chest helping the circular momentum, you can't do it anymore with your 2RT because of new length.
As a physics professor, it's difficult to comment on this because your inquiry doesn't make much sense from a physics perspective. For example, whether you have one hand or two on the racket, the racket cannot weigh any less. Unless of course you take a piece off the racket. You see what I mean? As far as the swinging of the rackets is concerned, they can be swung independently and with smooth, controlled and powerful follow-troughs. Take a look at some of my groundstroke/drill videos. Cheers!

Not exactly the best looking pants on a tennis court.
Gr8 work nonetheless.

Whats the physics behind one Wilson racket and one Head?

that isn't impressive. now show him hitting two forehands from each side and i'll be impressed.

hmmm ok using two racket can be fun.
