i found out goldsmith used the national philharmonic orchestra for this and some of his other films, was a british orchestra they're not longer around unfortunately

i keep coming back to this, this film and goldsmith = pure win i swear this film is probably my favourite of all time, at least my favourite arnie film, its fun, the story is great keeps you guessing with twists, the characters are awesome, the soundtrack is amazing, the effects for its time was superb and i always dream myself of what it would be like to go to mars in the future or another planet, it strikes up my imagination this film gets 10/10 and the soundtrack 10/10 amazing film

i think this is my fav arnie film, for these reasons, the soundtrack is amazing, sure terminator and others are awesome as well, but the setting of mars just kills it as well, one of the first movies to have its story set on mars and it actually worked. The other reason is well what young guy dont wish he was a secret agent on mars! oh did i mention the two fit women, sharon stone and the other dark skinned one, id still do em even today. One of Goldsmith's most action packed tracks, not to mention one of his greatest action scores. This one is absolutely fantastic. Nobody better than Goldsmith or Williams when it comes to action music. They are on the top of the heap.

Love this track!

I remember reading how Goldsmith himself marveled at how many notes he had written for this score! It was off the charts for an action score.
