What do you do if your cat won't even let you touch her w/ a brush? She bites the brush and freaks out...and constantly having to cut the hair around her butt b/c she poo's on herself and gets all matted (gross right)...She is a long hair siamese so not anywhere as thick at this cat...help!
@peachfire1981 I don't know about your vet but I know mine will actually use anaesthesia to knock your cat out and shave them while they sleep. Mine thankfully loves having it's butt shaved
@Sleepichick Thank you! I did have my vet shave her butt when I got her fixed but guess that is what I am going to have to do from now on...I just don't want to pay the cost of this b/c it's about 30+ dollors a pop...thank you for your help!
well, she may not have the most gentle touch, but she does know what she is talking about. and, with cats, you have a window to do what you need to do, and then, you are done. lol!!

So much fur coming out...this is the reason I stay away from Persian, it will take over my life, I just dont have time for persian even if they are so cute.
Yeah, not too gentle at pampered paws, huh? I'm very gentle with my 18.5 year old long haired cat. She would have a huge fit if I did what this lady is doing to this poor cat. At least this cat got groomed, though I'm sure it was uncomfortable.
Obviously working in a professional grooming salon is different from grooming at home. In order not to stress my cats I'll groom them when they're relaxed, and I take advantage for example, when they are lying on their backs to gently groom their tummies & between their legs. I groom them where ever they happen to be sitting or lying. Sometimes they're in the mood for it!

@peachfire1981 Thats a shame, my vet offers free nurse services, butt shaving, nail clips, ear cleaning etc. Maybe try shopping around?

i would shave this cat first before coming him seems like he has small knots in his hair and that will definatly piss him off lol.
