I'm pretty sure the same dude taught my film class last year. He wouldn't happen to be an ambiguously gay Spaniard with a nasaly voice, would he? This video will haunt you in your dreams after watching 30-40 times (which you probably need to do anyway) to actually complete all the criteria set out for you. For me, it became the equivalent of a migraine.

Just to add to that, that's not because its a bad film mind you (rather amusing actually) but dissecting it for weeks on end ad nauseum does make it unbearable after a while. Perhaps you didn't have the same teacher (I had Jose Sanchez who isn't at Carleton anymore apparently) - I didn't know Loiselle gave out the same assingnment.

He has his inspired moments. Made fun of Julia Roberts a lot, which makes him OK in my book. I think I ended up watching this about 54 times...he really wants you to absorb every single frame. It nearly drove me to the point of dementia.
