@kubrick767 I was there you spaz. In his first season in the CL, the games were pretty much all full up. PSG, Porto, Barca, Bayern, Liverpool. The following season there were lower crowds against Anderlecht (around 30k so not half empty as you claim) and Bremen (around 36k so again not half empty). They're still bigger gates than Liverpool ot against Steaua in Europe this season. And I agree, 1935 has no relevance today...much like the 70's and 80's when Liverpool were mopping up trophies.
