It's soul has a higher drop rate than other monsters so you can get it a lot easier. Doesn't make it any less annoying to get though.

What really takes the piss is your not fully guaranteed a soul drop from killing it and slowing it down is hard enough.

It gave me a ton of exp when I killed it, and it was enough to lvl me up...

@JosephKoopa it gives the same exp as the gothic knight (the one after final guard) the last demon and sumfin else.. anyway yeah if you can get the chronogame early on once you get leigeon you can lvl up easily IF you can catch the fishy

You need the Chrono Mage's soul... Activate it at a certain time, you'll see a white flash, and if you used it just before it comes out, it starts to move slow and you'll be able to kill it...

1soul eater ring ( for spirits)

2sherman ring (for xp)

3rare ring ( for rare items)

4gold ring ( enemys leave behind more gold)

I wasted all my MP just because of the Sky Fish.

It was worth it though.

If you get the 4 rings, you can get the Chaos ring in the Chaos Realm. It gives you unlimited MP and makes Sky Fish so much easier to catch. Plus, they give you a crapton of EXP.
