If your having trouble doing this try:

1. holding as close to the edge of the cards as possible

2.make sure the finger doing the pulling motion is close to the holding finger and draw your finger across at a 45 degree angle

I must say that this guy is not a very good teacher, and I've never been told that it looks like the card is coming out of the deck seeing as how people can kind of see the card being peeled off the top if your at a poker table or even just showing it to someone...and he really should have gone into more detail...and is that even a full deck of cards???
