I only just got this game working recently for PS2 - the Swap Magic discs can't handle the size of the games TOC.

To play you have to put in a large TOC game on the Swap Magic start up screen (Xenogears, Devil May Cry 1 or 2, GTA III are examples) - it will then say "refresh TOC", then you do the usual swap trick and away you go!

So easy, but it took me ages to find that out..

Thats a fair comment - the roster is a litte weak, it has a really nice crunchy feel though and plays very well.

This game is amazing.

It has so many frames and yet the fighting engine stays intact without being overly broken.

It looks like a flash cartoon with all the jointed characters and whatnot.

Yeah, I could get the PS2 version. But then again, why not save up and get an actual Jamma cab and Atomiswave motherboard. The game itself is only about £50 on eBay. And what an awesome unique way to lay the game at home. Worth all the £1000 price of the cab!

Rumble is such an amazing fighting game. Love Lud, Aran, Zen. Bazoo, Viren, and Mito.

they didn't drew that much frames, it's a technique where a static graphic moves through space for a couple of frames. It's actually ugly to look at up close since you can really tell. The youtube quality video is just decieving

what the fuck? i always thought this game was in 3d. the characters are 3d, the backgrounds are 3d... it's only the gameplay that is classic 2d.

if the characters are actually drawn in 2d, i wonder if it's for performance reasons.

some people prefer 2d over 3d, 2d gives a game a special charm when its done right (metal slug for example) it can make a game better than if it was 3d and gives it tons o style, 2d=3d their just different mediums like painting and sculpture

This did come to the US. I've been playing it at this arcade in Arlington, TX. This game is so bad ass, it's unreal, I've spent countless hours outside of work and school playing this game man. I recommend it highly.
