By releasing that toad, you probably have spread a amphibian crippling disease to the native amphibian species of the river.

Thank you for your concern, but "that toad" happens to be a Western Toad, which is native to this area. There is already a healthy population of Western Toads living in the Santa Ynez river, which is why we decided to release the toad there.
