sorry to be an anglophone and a hispanophone, but I see ENGLISH as the best solution for an already existent global communication relations. Ingles es universal. Englisch ist der Universal Sprache.
15 years ago I was the first of my family, friends and colleagues to have internet. At that time I already knew that will be the world solution to world communication. Absolutely nobody shared my oppinion - "Why have internet, to speack with yourself?", "You are utopic", "Tradicional mail is best, everybody haves that", bla bla...
So, Where is the arguments? You speack about "a relations", what is a relations? Did you mispelled? How many years did you studed? Make as me at this moment, use Google translator :-p
by relations I mean how people from all over the world communicate with each other online. like me from america and you from portugual. we are speaking english are we not. not esparanto, english is prevalent in a lot of countries. I have been speaking english since I was about 5 years old, and I speak spanish too, so I am basically an english and spanish native speaker. how long have you studied english
I studied english for 5 years and that is not sufficient to read a book or watch a movie without (??????) how to say - writhing... whriting.... text in the bottom... (sorry, I have no patience to search dictionary for now.
I studied Esperanto for 1,5 year and I'm reading in my 9-th book, I talk without difficulty, I understand everithing, I'm fluent. Can you make a little effort to see the difference?
FUCK!!! youre beginning to make me mad! ENOUGH with the ATTITUDE, oxygen I am just saying that English is spoken by waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more people than is esperanto. dont be proud, youre speaking ENGLISH not Portuguese and you say that you are not english, shit the only English people in the world are those from ENGLAND! get it straight. if you dont like english then stop communicating with it. que a que. this to that. understand
Or, in the same brilliant way of thinking, if you don't like pollution stop breath it, if you prefer solar energy stop using the train and the bus, that are not solar yet,
entiendo como 40% de Portugues.. Em Portugues não sei falar Eu. Fala em Portugues??? (adiviné la fráse).. oder warum du nicht sprich Deutch - eine wirkliche Sprache
sorry I cannot understand you I cannot translate Esperanto on google translate/Przepraszam, nie mogę zrozumieć was nie może tłumaczyć Esperanto w Google Translate.
that translates 51 other languages like Swahili, Welsh, Afrikaans, Catalan, Malay.... they must be important then!
@gamrkidd No todos podemos aprender bien el inglés. everyone should learn esperanto (no pertenece a ningún pais ---> no hay dominación cultural). It's not fair that british people e.g, don't need to study a language! It's a big waste of money and time learning a so difficult language! Not everyone have money enough to learn it. We are living english domination everywhere (halloween, english music, st claus, valentine's day...) I'm spanish and those things are not part of our culture. only yours.
en la mayor parte, ingles ya es universal. yes it has been brought to the world by the English. but that does not mean England has a major impact on all english speakers.and learning english facilitates everything, its worth the time and effort. Im lucky, my parents are from mexico and puerto rico and i was born and raised in california, so i learned english since i was a kid. english is not trying to replace other languages just facilitate communications between various people
@gamrkidd I'm not talking only about england... but also usa. "and learning english facilitates everything, its worth the time and effort. " It would be worthier and more fair to learn then esperanto. it's less time and effort. I cannot say what i want to say because of english... i'm not good enough... i'm not native... it's not fair to argue in english... you will never speak good spanish too, unless you come to a spanish country...
and how would that make a difference anyway? if esperanto is going to be the universal lingua franca who gets rich?? its the companies who make products teach esperanto to billions of people - thats who profits. knowing english has no correlation to money spending.
@gamrkidd If the UE choose esperanto they would save 25000 millions euros per year and GB would stop earning from 17,000 to 18,000 millons euros per year. who will profit will be all the countries (not only uk, usa or languages academies like now, you can learn it even by internet.). do you still think that knowing english has no correlation to money spending???
I saw the whole video. its convincing, but i just think that even with noble reasons to learn esperanto, its not going to be so widespread and universal as english is now. at least not in the near future. miré el video entero. es convincente pero creo que hasta con las razones nobles para aprender el esperanto, no va ser tan común y universal como inglés. por lo menos no en el futuro cercano
@gamrkidd Yes, tou are right! that's what i read about it "La elección del Esperanto como lengua de trabajo interna en los órganos de la Unión Europea; dicha posibilidad se muestra como la más barata e igualitaria; esta opción se considera como lejana dado a los fuertes prejuicios en contra del Esperanto, y de la desinformación al respecto." ...
@alejandro31192 I feel the need to correct you on your misconceptions of the holidays you just stated. For in fact these holidays are not ENGLISH speaking holidays. The first case is with St. Valentine's Day or Valentine's Day. It was established hundreds of year ago under the CHRISTIAN faith. And during that time the clergy and Pope spoke Latin plus the language of their birth. So unless you aren't Christian, then you can't claim its an English speaking holiday.
@alejandro31192 On with Halloween, it comes from old Irish and Celtic orgins and the name and its present day traditions are derived from Old English. Have you ever read Old English? I had to study it once, it is absolutetly nothing like present day spoken English. So yes well that can be said to be an English holiday its also a Christian one. And St. Nicolas has many faces and appears in many eras. The earliest recording of him was the 4th Century in what is now present-day Demre, Turkey.
@alejandro31192 As for English music, its understandable its English because that's the language the singer is fluent in. Just like some are fluent in French, Polish, Mandrain etc. And I wouldn't make an assumption that the world it dominated by English, if you don't live in a country that has a majority English speaking population then you aren't dominated by it.
@alejandro31192 If you live in a country that has more thatn 85% English speakers, what do you expect? Nothings worng with Esperanto, I find it fascinating but to attack English like its some plague is sad.
Kion ĉi tiu video koncernas Esperanton? Mi ne kredas ke estas iu korelacio iel ajn !!!

I (and 90% of world population) don't know what means "what to what". Don't explain to me, I don't need to know. I'm not english, I'm portuguese.
