So in the the gan lae gan music video, maybe Tong asked Mew to meet again, in the last scene Mew was not sure but he definitely had some anticipation, while Tong's attitude was firm, he has his smile all the time in the music video.

I think when Tong said ''I can't be your boyfriend'', he only meant for temporary. As you can see after he give the present to Mew, he waved goodbye, smiling. Tong knew they may be together in the future, after he settle down with his family, Love will give him another chance. After Tong grew up he was not good at speech,you can see that after Mew ask about his feeling after the party. In my opinion, Mew got the message wrong and thought they would never meet again, but Tong knew they will.

not all stories of gay movies has a happy ending sometimes it needs to have have some sad ending like mew saying thank you to tong for giving him the last piece of the wooden doll. .even though it is sad the other side of it that the family of tong accepted the reality about him and his mother saying that there only the three of us it means that they accept that tang might be gone. .im not really satisfy with the ending but its lovely and touches my heart. .

I don't know... Most sequels ruin everything. I'd just like that the director said something like "They may end up together. Tong didn't mean they wouldn't EVER be together, he just meant it wasn't the best of times to be together"...

That would be more than enough... I just want a "yet": "We can't be together YET".

You couldn't make a sequel, I mean, it would last... five minutes? Telling how everything got better? There's not enough material for a sequel.

@awithacrown Its called Crazy Little thing Called Love (the sequel , 9years gone). I don't know when it will be released or if they have started shooting it yet. Mario though has a movie with Philippine teen actress Erich Gonzales though which will be out this year.
