bas rutten and wanderlei silva are legends in the sport. Even though Wanderlei has not been the same fighter since his lost to mirko in my opinion. He fought someone in a larger weight class.. but respect to both fighters, both have had very exciting fights, wanderlei, first and second fight with rampage was very fun to watch, and bas rutten erupted someones liver for trying to cheat in a fight.

bas rutten and wanderlei silva are legends in the sport. Even though Wanderlei has not been the same fighter since his lost to mirko in my opinion. He fought someone in a larger weight class.. but respect to both fighters, both have had very exciting fights, wanderlei, first and second fight with rampage was very fun to watch, and bas rutten erupted someones liver for trying to cheat in a fight.

@TheSirSneaky You can't compare fighters that way. If so then Wand beat Rampage after he had beaten Liddell just before his win against Ortiz. Though Wand lost to these fighters. An other one, Couture lost to Ilioukhine who lost to Rampage before he lost to Wanderlei. So it doesn't mean anything.
I was just saying that Wand in his prime could have beaten Randy, as the style of Randy's wasn't the best style to beat Wanderlei. Bas Rutten would have been a tougher opponent as a big striker.

I mean I could easily assert his loss against Rich Franklin in the same way. He's washed up. Further, as far as comparing the careers of Rampage and Silva, that's completely debatable since Rampage is still relevant at 205 and if he beats the dragon will receive another title shot and being 2x UFC champ will make him undeniably better than Silva. I mean Hendo isn't the best middleweight anymore and he beat the piss out of Bisping. Further, Rich Franklin (who I personally like) is nowhere near a top contender at 205 and he crushed Wandy as well. I'm saying it's time to face facts Wandy was AWESOME but now has taken too many shots and is washed up.
