I think Nowe may be the son of inuart and possibly furiai. Legna makes a comment about him being a fool like 2others he knew in the past. Legna may have raised Nowe after Inuarts demise. Maybe the black dragon in part one was a relative of Legna's. Inuart and Nowe have similar voices.
@balbanes1 Nowe kinda kinda came out of bone castet after Inuart entered there with Furiae at least that's what I've read. Whats interesting is that his name is written exactly the same as the word "new" in Polish as in "New Breed"

i think the japanese creators did it like that to make us choose which ending to believe i say the story leading to nowe's birth was alittle well wierd cause the bone casket was never mentioned in the first one maybe i haven't unlocked all the endings yet to me drakengard is a more "what if" storyline that can be altered many times the reason why i said it wasn't legna in the first place because it seemed too enigmic at the time plus when i was playing it i was too busy trying to survive
Ahh, a non-believer. The real answer is you never SEE him enter the Seed. If you read the prolouge of "Seals"(Chapter 8) Mission 1-Things Inhuman, it will tell you this: "Inuart has gone alone to try and ressurect Furiae."
That's all you find out from DG1, but If you play DG2 and get to the mission where Nowe and Legna enter the Ancient Tomb, the Book of Seeds will tell the story of DG1 in riddles. Figure it out, and it tells you that in the ORIGINAL ending, they BOTH entered the Seed.

the story in this game is absoluty amazing. i hate the happy ending bs, this there isnt a happy moment in the game it almost brings tears to ur eyes, kinda liek final fantasy x ending. But for gameplay not so great, unless you like button mashing for hours on end.

To me, it seems more likely that the legendary dragon you fight in chapter 8 is the one that killed his parents, their appearance is similar.
