i get it! this is anointed. what i get from it is that it's not about the pretty garments but the worship. there used to be a time when we didn't have all of the beautiful garments and we just worshipped God in what we had, we were still dressed appropriately but we didn't have nice things like what is being made now. some people want to dance because they want to be seen in a beautiful garment but God is only interersted in the worship. that's all.

i think i can explain it if u will the significance of the shedding off of the garment is showing GOD that a person is willing 2 do anything and do it by any means necessary in orde 2 go 2 the next and is level willing 2 give up every weight that is weighting the person down even friends family places and that a person is serious and that the next level a person is going they don't need any distractions and don't want any distractions and is willing 2 give it all up that when you mean business

i agree with richkidmar and i would also like to add what i feel is also signified by the remoal of the garment. i feel that along with you sacrificing yourself to God and giving up certain things, He is helping you to let go of the past and ge to that state of purity. as you pursue a deeper level, He helps let go of the layers of hurt, the layers of pain, the layers of shame, the layers of guilt, the layers of insecurity, the layers of sin, etc.
