At :41, Notice how the light changes to RED and ALL the incoming traffic slowly stops, the PT Cruser was clearly speeding and like always, it didn't have time to slow down, so he/she did the most stupid thing, which was speed up hoping to cross the intersection before any car was coming. That's when the other car with the green way hit him loosing control of the vehicle sending it straight to the pedestrian. Is not the pedestrian fault. He was already crossing when the light turned red.

Have you not seen that the camera freezes for like 5 seconds.. Theres only about 4 seconds of footage from after the crash, and people react pretty much instantly. It just takes them a few seconds to register what the sound was, where it came from and what happened.

In the last one, one lady starts her cell phone and the other jogs over right before you cut it. People usually take a second to react in those types of situations.

For example, look at the third clip. The guy crossing the street notices it a bit before it hits him, but he's frozen for a second, not allowing him to duck away in time.

If nobody saw the actual accident, then they would have just heard the crash. It does take people a little time to actually register what happened. Look at the time code. From point of impact to the time that the first lady heads away from the gas station is only 8 seconds. Not a lot of time for anything.
