Now that's what I call compressible flow. Are you calculating your pressure based on the ideal gas equation? I used to have problems with that, until I switched to Monaghan's approach.
the actual simulator is a lot smoother. the video makes it look choppy. i would say it actually runs faster than 60 fps, but due to small particle size, the time steps are very small.
why not use it to make a reamake of "dos computer game h2o" (just google it for more info) ? now its freeware but h2o game uses werry primitive fluid simulation model

@Thunabrain this isn't really based on an equation of state. it's just simple linear spring forces.
