Good promo, but when I think of WPIX in 1987, I think of how that channel (among the others) was on its downhill slide. I mean, I grew up in the 1970s watching all sorts of classic, CLASSIC tv shows and movies. But around 1985, cable tv was gaining a foothold in the area (New york City), and all that good stuff I grew up watching would disappear only to surface on some cable channel and never come back to free tv. (I didnt get cable tv until 1996)
