Wow I did not know that. I liked the old paint scheme better...seems the Downeaster name stuck out better with the Phase IV paint behind it. Anyway I don't know if you got it yet, but there is an article about the Downeaster on page 28 in the December issue of Trains. Apparently it is doing well enough to survive in the future, even when the federal grant runs out in 2009 (Maine will chip in to help also). I still have yet to ride the Downeaster though...

Cabbage Cars 90220 and 90213 were painted within the last year.
