God.... I hate graphic whores, games can still be fun without extremely good graphics like minecraft. Kirby 64 was a game I played throughout my childhood, and even to this day I still buy almost every kirby game that is released.
This does not apply to everyone, but I've found that people who spend all their time playing bloody-gore killing games seem to be more dick-like in real life.

So true, so very very true. I'll be honest, I own a Ps3. But I also have a Wii. When I first got Kirby's Epic Yarn for my birthday, I really thought it was some "stupid kids game". Then I started playing it, and the platforming, puzzles, and raw gameplay left me hooked for hours and hours. And the co-op is even more fun! The part at 4:01 is literally how people I know talk. Glad to see a great game like Kirby's Epic Yarn getting the respect it deserves.
It makes me depressed and frustrated that the people at my school say that Call of Duty is one of the best games of all time, and that Mario, Zelda, Sonic and Spore are kids games. I played Black Ops, and it is one of the most boring shooters I have ever played ... ever, in my entire life! And what's up with this "online multiplayer" nonsense. Multiplayer is about being social! There's nothing social about playing with pedophiles on the internet! When I get kids, I'll tell them to play Mario.

I know this comment is a bit late but look at the new 2 FPS coming out. I don't know your into those type of games but BattleField 3 and Modern Warfare 3? Kirby is not solely for kids. But Kirby's Epic Yarn, is certainly a kid's game. There's 0 challenge, and was bored out my mind the whole time playing it. Kirby Wii will be great. I like a challenge in my games. It's actually the whole reason I play games. Kirby's Epic Yarn... 0 challenge.

Most people, believe it or not, (and this is true because I know ALOT of people that are like this) don't play it because they are not smart enough for these games. Xbox360 and PS3 have too much of the same thing. Releasing FPS every year that end up casting a shadow on non-FPS like the beautiful Kirby's Epic Yarn. Hey, they made most of the Call Of Duty games for the Ds. The Wii has good graphics, but who cares about graphics! Blind people would want to see atleast something, it doesn't matter what! Regular Playstation had bad graphics, (STILL WHO CARES!) Horrible games, I loved PacMan games on that console though! Ps2 came and Grand Theif Auto came out and was a great game! Allright games. Graphics /do/ mean something, but they don't make a fun game any less enjoyable. Halo Reach's graphics are epic and I like that about Reach, but I don't play Reach because of the epic graphics. Dude, kirby does have blood. Not in epic yarn thought. In Kirby's Dreamland 3 and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (you have to have 100% to face them though). In DL3, the final boss attacks you wwith blood, and its a huge white floating ball with a kirby sized eye. Eventually the eye comes out in a bloody explosion and follows you around, and every time you hit it blood comes out. It returns in crywstal shars still shotting blood with a bandage where it exploded. It has blood.

One on hand, they always whine that if a game does not have amazing graphics, they won't play (which proves that they arent gamers since they would not have bothered playing games back in the day which means they restrict themselves from 95% of video games on the planet that predate the newer hi tech consoles). On the other hand they dickride COD, yet that game's graphics are 2005 era graphics.

I'm 10. Most kids my age play COD games. I don't touch them. I love playing SMB3, SMW, SM64. I enjoy playing Super Mario, heck, I'll try any Nintendo game, 96% of the time, I love the games. SMB3 is my favorite game next to it's relative for the 3DS. Wait, it's not realeased, and the graphics are bad because it's not good 3D! So, you're just going to let it sit there? NO! Sony makes something related. They want $300. You go buy it because you can listen to music with slightly better graphics. ?

Well, i hope it does but the real truth is that Mw3 is gonna sell more due to Modern Warfare 3 title it self since its big now days.. I guess... I don't believe it has to do with Graphics like other people say but feel if a game really looks cool in a bad ass way like Soinc back then, people would totally fall for game like explosions and other bad ass stuff. I know this comment is a bit late but look at the new 2 FPS coming out. I don't know your into those type of games but BattleField 3 and Modern Warfare 3? As you already know, they both have superior graphics then any wii title but thats not my point to compare consoles but the 2 games them selfs. Xbox360 and PS3 have too much of the same thing. Releasing FPS every year that end up casting a shadow on non-FPS like the beautiful Kirby's Epic Yarn. The "awesome graphics" make me suber motion sick and I'm sure that there are millions who have the same problem. The Wii dared to be different (Wii Fit, Wii Party, ect.) and the attempts get beat down.
PS: Microsoft SO stole the Mii idea... Haters gonna hate.

Hey, they made most of the Call Of Duty games for the Ds. The Wii has good graphics, but who cares about graphics! Blind people would want to see atleast something, it doesn't matter what! Regular Playstation had bad graphics, (STILL WHO CARES!) Horrible games, I loved PacMan games on that console though! Ps2 came and Grand Theif Auto came out and was a great game! Allright games. Xbox, some games where good, most of them were bad! Ps3 was great, Xbox360 was great but there different games! =)

Hey, for all those who commented something such as "Fuck the 360, Graphics don't mean shit!" I have a 360 and a Wii coexisting side by side peacefully. Graphics /do/ mean something, but they don't make a fun game any less enjoyable. Halo Reach's graphics are epic and I like that about Reach, but I don't play Reach because of the epic graphics. I play it because I find it entertaining. Likewise, I don't /not/ play Brawl because the graphics are standard quality...

ITS NOT ALL ABOUT THE GRAPHICS! for me, a good game has to have; simple controls, well balanced difficulty, not too hard and not too easy, memorable moments, great characters, and one of my favorite things, a great soundtrack. well graphics can also be good, but they dont have to be realistic. perfect example: Okami. Okami has probably one of the most unique graphics in any game, and its based on old Japanese ink style paintings. and MANY people love it...

Dude, kirby does have blood. Not in epic yarn thought. In Kirby's Dreamland 3 and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (you have to have 100% to face them though). In DL3, the final boss attacks you wwith blood, and its a huge white floating ball with a kirby sized eye. Eventually the eye comes out in a bloody explosion and follows you around, and every time you hit it blood comes out. It returns in crywstal shars still shotting blood with a bandage where it exploded. It has blood.
