This is a case where war, although a terrible thing, needs to be fought. Quickly and with the minimum loss of life. Letting the LTTE continue its assassinations, suicide bombings is actually not really helping anyone. Sometimes the tough decision is to cut the root of the problem. In this place, putting the LTTE masterminds behind bars would be a HUGE leap forward for everyone, including the Tamils.
