@knightclassic1 @superlokful I agree with both of you guys,but we're are also dealing with a new generation of hip hop fans. In 96. Old school was Fat Boys,RUn DMC, Big Daddy Kane(Even though he still was relavant). Some people were just discovering rap music in 1999. Flash forward 10 years later thats old school to them. Plus good vs bad sounding is subjective to say the least.

@306fatboy true, in my opinion also the best years of hip hop was the 80s and 90s, but hip hop died for me in about '97. It's not really dead, it's more like in a coma, and i hope some true niggas step up one day and bring it back...but i don't think that's possible. Real niggas recognize real.
