@sixtx its funny you should say that because Barker and The Rev are (or were) actually probably the two most classically trained young musicians in the industry today. both grew up studying jazz, funk, and fusion, and i don't know about Jimmy but Travis was a marching band geek in high school, according to interviews, and learned a bunch of different instruments, just like The Rev.
