Another fantastic waste of taxpayers dollars. 3 cop cars to escort these over populated animals down a freeway. Im sure these geese realllllly needed the help of these three cops, and that the police had nothing better to do.

In other news, Vandals tagged and terrorized a mans house in Olympia, Thieves continue to steal copper wire in broad daylight from telephone poles and catalytic converters from cars, and women are being attacked and stabbed in parks. Priorities priorities. Save the geese!

@DeathCougar1 Well actually they needed the cops so the cars wont run into them or maybe that cars will swerve causing accidents. This happened recently in Australia, Melbourne and a Traffic Management Van just drove behind and stopped traffic if need to be. But what I don't understand is why they needed 3 cop cars. I would understand 1 but not 3.

@DeathCougar1 Have you ever seen what a goose can do to the front of a car when the car hits it? Also, people swerving to avoid them can cause an accident. This action saved much more time and money than it cost.

Why 3 cars?

The back two were blocking the lane and shoulder with full lights on. That stretch of highway is coming over a rise.

The front car was herding, probably with direction from the two other cars (which was seen to be necessary, as the geese tried to stay on I-90).
