The majority of Gitmo prisoners would happily hack your head off with a dirty, rusty knife before you could blink an eye. They would slaughter your children and feed their entrails to chickens. Nick Berg, Daniel Pearl, and untold Iraqi/Afghani men women and children as well as American and coalition soldiers.

I understand your feelings but understand we are dealing with an enemy unlike any we have dealt with in the history of mankind.

The war in Iraq is over. There has never been a war in which Human Right were NOT abused. American soldiers are notorious for PROTECTING human rights slugger and if you don't know that, read a history book.

The overwhelming majority of detainees at Gitmo, Abu Ghraib and the secret CIA prisons had nothing to do with Al Qaeda or 9/11 and were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

What's more, punishing people before they have even been charged with a crime is not going to bring anyone back from 9/11 or deter future terrorism - quite the opposite.

This torture is a stain on our record. We need to make it right ASAP. Even rapists and mass murderers are read their rights.

You better do a bit of reading buddy. Many of the terrorists were picked up the day Mike Spann was murdered including John Walker Lindh. I'll trust our Special Ops teams, NSA and the CIA before I'll give a modicum of attention to any terrorists that MAY have an affiliation to Al Qaeda, Hezzbolah, Islamic Jihad, etc.
