  • @DONTBLYNK hi i am a gamer and i play over almost ever fps and this is one of the best fps i ever played but their is just too much hackers please fix this

  • Open beta starts January 12, hope you can make it!

  • What Editing program do you use?

  • Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0

I have Adobe After Effects CS3 but I haven't figured it out yet :(

  • So what separates this from other F2P FPS? Looks alright and ill probably look into it.

  • It is very Counter Strike like, may not seem like it but when you play you will see what I mean. It uses Game Guard which is the best F2P hack preventing program out there. and its just plain out fun

  • Game Guard is arguably the worst anti-hack software. Its so easily bypassed, CS is fun but I think CS-Style is kinda dying(at least to me)

  • @Xiger0 I think there are a few things that separates K.O.S. from the others:

1 - it's the only free to play FPS to use the Source Engine, the same one that Counter-Strike uses.

2 - You can add AI "killbots" to the game that you can play against or with

3 - In the near future you'll be able to wager ingame currency on your matches

4 - It's smooth, fast, and grfx are very good

  • The Source Engine is/has been used to create FPS F2P Mods and is almost outdated. Typically AI either play terribly or have a sixth sense of players locations and god-like reflexes. Wagering is something unheard of to me for any FPS game. I would hope it ran smooth and fast but thats based on the users PC's hardware components.

  • You are correct, the Source Engine is/has been used to make mods, but not for free to play games. You'll have to judge for yourself if you like our AI bots, but they are very well constructed. You can select their ability so that you can customize to your liking.

  • @DONTBLYNK dont get me wrong, i love the game. however, the f2p game The Kill Point also uses source engine.

  • I can't find any information on this Kill Point game, other than it came out in 2007 and doesn't seem to be in existence anymore. Can you tell me more?

  • @DONTBLYNK well, since my comp cvant run it, here's a youtube review of it, although the guy sounds annoying, all points are covered. bw, are you actually associated with dontblynk?

  • @DONTBLYNK /watch?v=xlDnwDHzdrU

  • Thanks --- I looked at the vid. Can't tell if it's really based on the Source Engine, but I'll take your word for it :) And yes, this is the official DONTBLYNK portal YouTube account.

  • you know, its finally nice to see a game company actually connecting with the fans for once. i also am a veteran FPS fan, and know some improvements that would greatly improve KOS. how can I get em to you? Youtube message?

  • Thanks, GameCommand, we are doing our best to work with the fans and players to help make K.O.S. the best free-to-play FPS out there.

Best way to pass along comments is by putting them in our forums. We're in there every day. Thanks for taking the time to do that, we appreciate all comments.
