Fantastic and scary at the same time. I have raised Oscars and Pacus and I have to say they can easily out grow a tank. It is unfortunate that someone released this exotic species in Connecticut. I wonder if this was a recent release or was it able to survive the winter in the river.

I just sold my Pacu that was about that big. But it was a Red Bellied Pacu, not a Black Pacu.
