I've always had a computer, my whole life. I designed my first website when I was seven. Before that I was in kindergarten. So If I didn't have the internet I would be either be a person who records themselves singing the ABCs so teachers can play it for preschoolers or a crayon artist or a person who carves their name into wet cement.
I had my first computer when I was seven but didn't really use the internet till I found out about youtube in 08 and this is my 7th computer I think.I just be on youtube all day and read books.And I watch the weather channel.Only thing I watch on the TV.
I've tried to go without the internet but it never lasts long. I usually crack after a day or two, I think the longest I've gone was three days. Now I have a smart phone and it makes that even harder...
@PuppyDogGalore Not to be mean, but I seriously hope you're joking. ._. If you can't live without a computer when you're just 10 years old, that's when you know you *need* to get rid of it for a while. Learn to balance internet and life. You'll be happier.

I think it's irrelevant what age u were when you got your first computer...I was 29...in 1995...
so I had a REAL life before and AFTER my ostensible net "addiction"...point is, u better be adept @ navigating (and distinguishing) real world from virtual world or you'll end up in a loony bin.
I was 12 when I got the internet. I probably would have had real life friends if I hadn't had the internet throughout my teen years. I'd probably watch more TV............. on the TV instead of the internet......
I got my first computer when I was 10 as well. I don't really even remember what I did before I didn't have internet. Possibly went outside to play with the kids in the neighbourhood, did gymnastics and sang in a choir, played with barbies & went to school... :D. Fuuunn.
Without the internet I would have never started reading Twilight which is a good thing. I would have never known what manga or anime are. I would definitely have more courage to talk to people. I would not play MMORPGs xD. I would read more books and would not have glasses. I would not be able to speak english anywhere nearly as well as I do, I would not have made some awesome friends abroad that I have!..

You've still written a novel, and released several albums for multiple bands, so you're pretty accomplished for a 21-year-old. Overall, you'd still probably be a college student, but you might have different major and writing papers would be a LOT harder.

You've still written a novel, and released several albums for multiple bands, so you're pretty accomplished for a 21-year-old. Overall, you'd still probably be a college student, but you might have different major and writing papers would be a LOT harder.
I'd probably read more and be less of a horrible procrastinator...

dont forget playing nintendo with friends - also meaning you'd have to leave the house and meet up in order to hang out...USING A HOUSE PHONE! therefor getting all the sensible info you need before leaving the house until you meet up... technology HAS taken over!! sonsofbitches! they meant it in a metphorical manner! ...i guess that means 2012 is metphorical too and we wont notice. now i'm trailing off.
