if you hadn't kept the bow-shaped piece of wood curved for so long it would have been more rigid and thus would have done more damage by going perhaps into the ground instead of skimming the surface once.

i think the trap itself was great but it looks like the wood was a little young or you left out there too long this trap would have worked mch better if the branch was dryer or if it was thicker overall a good trap

Not all his traps are Made to be powerful. There to show you how you could make one. Big deal if its weak, are you going to use the same branch he used to demonstrate? Find your own dam branch that's powerful enough, duh.

nice idea. you might know this already but dead wood is better to use because it wont mold to the bend shape like green wood would, and would be mush springier

hay i would add more spears, because the animal has to go in that specific place. if you add more it has a better chance because spears are everywhere. so you have a better chance to catch the critter
