  • I want one lol

  • WHAT?

  • Epic questionmark!

  • WTF! The best TV i have ever seen! I'll buy 3D TV RIGHT NOW! 1 day shipping! LOL

  • no its really 3d, you just cant see it in the video. it actually pops off the table in real life.

check out stereoscopic viewing and look into it. this isnt really stereoscopic but youll get the jist on how it works

  • why would you need this? i guess its cool in a way but why?

  • what the hell did i just watch?

  • I saw one of the critters escape from the glass .. so it is not perfect, good idea though

  • they all can scape by sliding under the glas.. watch it.

  • uhm... it's not 3d? it just interacts with 3d objects? nothing new.

  • It is real 3D display. It's principle is similar to Hologram.

  • Beg to differ. It is NOT true 3D.

It uses an X, Y, Z plane to construct a 2D image which is displayed on the monitor. The only reason why it remotely looks 3D is because there is no depth in this video (we have 2 eyes, camera only has 1) and so it LOOKS like the penguins throwing something at the glass, when it really is not. Just a variable to look like bent sludge. Its not 3D.

  • The single camera lens can't see the 3D effect. You need to use both eyes to see the effect.

  • i could get a glass from the cupboard and put it onto the tv screen but i don't get why i would want to.

Seriously, what the fuck is this?

  • That's ridiculous! What's the matter have just a 2D Display? That's a new "hunting nickel" idea. =/

  • em, what's supposed to be impressive here?

  • An trancparency cup is real object. And an ink spot on the transparency cup is virtual 3d image. I think that this system can detect the transparency cup position and generate an interaction effect between real transparency object and virtual 3d image in realtime. I like their concept!

  • or it spits the image out ,, enlarges it making it apear closer then splats???? the cup is purley sensory...

  • Cool!
