Abortion is a slippery slope, now killing a child shortly after birth is OK to a liberal such as Obama. There are a lot of nuances in that statement that are scairy. I respectfully disagree. 1)I don't think the word 'liberal' holds the culture-war-stereotype meaning that you seem to assign to it. 2)Many of my liberal friends are very devout believers. 3)Broadly speaking, the liberal view is that the church should be separated from the state. That's not the same as eliminating God. In fact it recovers for religion a vitality that it loses when it's instrumentalized by political interests. 3)Palin isn't a feminist, by any measure. So your theory is misplaced.

I'm a Democrat and I don't hate Sarah Palin. I think this is the most amazing election in the history of the US & I'm happy to know that there will be a person of a different demographic in the White House in January. I disagree with many of Sarah's beliefs, but I respect her as a person. She really does seem to be "bigger than life", & I'm thoroughly interested in all that happens now that she's on the ticket. I do feel there might have been better choices, but that's McCain's prerogative.
