  • As a vet I would rather die in my own bed lying in my own piss and vomit than god to the VA. The VA freakin sucks!

  • NEED HEALTH CARE ? TRY GOP NO CARE ! IT'S A KILLER !

  • I love the idea of the Public Option in Health Insurance, because it gives people another option, a Non Profit option in where they get their Health Insurance. Their choice, they don't have to take or they can. Their option.

  • The problem is when government runs the healthcare ....new solutions, new ideas, new technologies and new aspects of health care a slowed down due to the slow response government deliberates puts on its budgetary plans and procurement processes. We no longer have excellent health care but adequate health care. We NEED to figure out fast, adequate response time in governement then think about socialized health care!

  • @staaberelli: Ever heard of Medicare? You know, that govt run health care? I have never heard anyone who had a bad experience with Medicare. Medicine for profit is what is causing the high costs. Health care should be a basic human right not a luxury.

  • ABSURD! Let me say it again! there are people who have to work very hard and stress their bodies to make even ten dollars per hour and these Doctors drive around in nice cars, vacation in the best spots and have it good in life so i dont feel one bit calous in saying they get paid too much money and the healthcare system is inflated!

  • Bernie Sanders is right ... AND every dam republican knows it... There to busy lining there pockets and thinking about themselves...

  • Jim Rogers for Secretary of the Economy. And Bernie Sanders for President in 2012.

  • VA probably serves hundreds of thousands of troops in comparison of serving 300 millon plus. What does sanders really know? A political science BA is just as good or as effective as an Art history major going in to run an economics department in any university.

  • @cartmanfan0316 Academics doesn teach everything we need to know just the basics. So stowe your argument because Bernie Sanders is using common sense arguments.

  • Isn't Gallup Danish??

  • not his desciption because the people of america are terrified of the word socialised, even though none of them even understand what it means

  • @pstarsbob I would so vote for him but with the insurance companies bribing candidates and by candidates I mean republicans who don't want universal health care (watch Sicko to get what I am saying) He would have no chance

  • This man has a pair. Speak UP

  • 15 minutes $100 dollars =absurd doctors visit.

  • @staaberelli wouldn't you pay $100 if you hurt or were dying? Go live in another country that has lower health care standards (US has been found to have lowest death rates and patient satisfaction in the world). For example, Canada used to have a "brain drain" where the best Doctors left to work in the US because they got paid MORE. Unfortunately, money attracts the best.

  • @aminevich Paying some money for healthcare is acceptable but becoming indentured to health care bills is absurd. A non-insured emergency room visit is NOT $100 it is more like $300-$800 just for the Doctor to see that it was not an emergency after all. This is selling your soul to the devil. The escalation of money (inflation) leaves out most people, therefor America theme song is becoming "Separation in anyway we can" Separation of Church and State, Separation of Rich vs Poor, etc.

  • @staaberelli

300-800 for emergency care ? Dude what Emergency room did you go to ? My last Emergency room visit was 1,800 dollars for and Xray and a boot for a broken ankle...

  • @funkyflights your comment reinforces my thinking that health care is a "get rich" business and has left the concept of fundamental good natured care behind.

  • @aminevich that is not true, america 36. on life expectalcy and they are 46. in infant mortality rates and WHO ranked the health care 37. in the world

  • @aminevich Who is this bullshit response. NO ONE should be paying that much money that is the point. Health care is inflated so get off your high fucking horse and come down to reality.

  • @staaberelli wow, such anger (this detracts from your response). I work in health care and honestly believe that to get the best you need to pay for it. What I do not agree is that in the US one may lose their home to treat one occurrence of hospitalization. Socialized medicine is not perfect either. Unless you've lived in a country that uses it (as I did) you might want to read up and research before spouting such angry words. No doubt that there's insane costs, but it's not all broken!

  • @aminevich Good Health care is found in America at what cost? I hope you in your claim to almighty wisdom about health care can convince people to stop playing the ridiculous game of high cost insurance and no real effort in health care. When our brightest talent close their minds because of cost then we all suffer and I dont need to read up and do research on skewed facts to begin with. You seem to be that type of individual. The truth is that if reform is to happen get off your high horse ass.

  • @aminevich NO...my point is that I was not hurt and was not dying so why should I pay that much? Why should we continue to give free hard earned money away ...JUST BECAUSE that ICD9 coding was incorrectly entered into the system? etc etc etc Answer these questions instead of jibbering on a Youtube posting. Get to the real answer in health care

  • @aminevich

Dude what ? Your missing something .... USA's health care system has a middle man called private insurance AND THERE THE ONES taking the money bro.... WE could easily implement a system that eliminates that middle man and puts the money where it belongs to the doctors and people who care for us.... We have good doctors and great technology but we have a bad system in place... THAT"S our problem...

  • @funkyflights now we agree. So, my next question is, "what are YOU going to do about it?". Too many arm-chair quarterbacks typing angry words. What have YOU done about this? I work in healthcare and have volunteered, sat on boards, educated people, etc. What have YOU done "bro"?

  • @aminevich

HEY I love your attitude.... We need more people like you.... I've talked to doctors... specialists... I've protested budget cuts to vital social programs... I"ve written my State representatives OVER AND OVER talking about the need for Single payer or at least and option for the American people... I NEED TO DO MORE... And I will.... I've just started... NO DOUBT our numbers are our strength.... COME TOGETHER!!

  • @funkyflights Want to know where to start? Lead by example: have the senators give up their life-time health care coverage. As a health professional I believe that you have the right to charge whatever the market bares. If people rose up against these fees, then professionals would lower their costs. I become frustrated by comments that simplify a problem to something as simple as you charge too much. Go to school. Excel. Run up school debt and then lets see if $100 per visit is too much!

  • does anyone trust the government?

what is the quality of government education?

    epic fail

  • @hyylo your government education sucks because the US doesn't give schools a flat rate per student, rather they make the immediate community pay for their schools.

    Poor community = poor schools

    rich community = rich schools

    America fails yet again

  • Public option now.

  • McCain say's not exactly his description of the VA being socialized..... Sorry McCain the reality is ..... IT"S SOCIALIZED...... And you cant' dispute the facts even if you want to change the description......

  • Public option!!!!! Health care for all Americans!!!

  • bernie sander is actually really calm about his issues

  • public optioin, public option, public option NOW

  • Bravo Senator Sanders. Thank you for your efforts to reform health care. Please keep up the good fight, Sen. Sanders.

  • Senator Sanders is the man!

  • Capitalist Logic 101: People who listen to Jay-Z simply can't work at Legg Mason. People who listen David Architcantspelllshitmusic knows everything from the difference between bailouts/invesments and Hong Kong.

Excellent logic you have there. LOL :D

  • Another example:

Is the Bin Laden family "bailing out" the Fremont Group for investing in it?

FACT: You call me a moron and you still don't even know the difference between an investment and a bailout.

  • Back when I used to work at Legg Mason, my co-workers and I used to talk shit about farmers/agriculture workers like you who defend capitalism. Farmers usually votes republicans. And we lobby the republicans to invest in our funds. So thanks to farmers, we're on permanent welfare!!! :D

  • I highly doubt you worked for Legg Mason. Not too many Jay Z fans in that institution. Give me a break.

  • Okay. Whatever you say. :D

  • They also don't use "DUDE" in their sentences. I'm not a farmer young child. I'm a land owner. Furthermore, I'm not a Republican. I'm a Libertarian.

  • Land owner?! LOL. You will never beat Plum Creek.

Libertarian. LOL. We lobby them too. Ever heard of the libertarian think tank, Competitive Enterprise Institute? Yeah, my current employer lobbies them.

  • YOU don't lobby anyone. You're a dreamer. Rational thinking combined with Logic and experience can see right through your BS. If it were my guess I'd say you're an angry minority who can't get out of the 'hood' and hates everything about life.

  • Don't lobby anyone?! capitalismforever thinks lobbying does not exist? LOL.

    :D

  • No, lobbying definitely exists. There's no question about that. YOU have NEVER lobbied. Can you imagine some idiot such as you walking into a board room and addressing people with "DUDE and YO and F&^K and S%$t. You wouldn't last a minute. That's why YOU'VE NEVER done anything of the sort. But, lobbying does exist and to a large degree.

  • I can't imagine someone like you praising capitalism in public while millions of people in America can't even afford to put a roof over their heads. LOL.

  • I don't personally do the lobbying. DO YOU READ. My current employer does.

But I do know Richard Berman personally. Do you know who Richard Berman is?

  • You absolutely did say that YOU, personally, did lobbying. Your exact quote was " We lobby them too". WE is the first-person, plural personal pronoun which means the inclusion of YOU. Therefore, you absolutely said YOU lobby. Now you say you don't. It looks like you 1) can't make up your mind 2) lie & 3) even argue with yourself.

  • You're obviously a complete liar about having no time to reply to anything I said. You rather correct my English than actually debunk any of more statements regarding economics.

  • Listen moron, it is not MY problem that you don't know how to use the Queen's English properly. I'm 100% certain anyone supplementing the Queen's English for "YO, DUDE, F#$K, & S@#T, didn't EVER work for a reputable business such as Legg Mason or any reputable corporation for that matter. You're a loud mouthed obnoxious mediocre child who can't even communicate above a 2nd grade level. Good riddance idiot. You'll be nothing because you are nothing.

  • Listen corporate whore, I don't give a shit about proper English. Did you hurt your boo-boo feelings?!

You'll be nothing because you are nothing? Nice english you have there. LOL. Go suck on Riley Bechtel's cock, m'kay?

And you're one who said: "I don't have time". :D

Legg Mason...reputable corporation? Farmer boy lectures me on the difference between an investment and bailout. LOL.

  • Again with the corporate whore thing. LOL. What a weirdo you are.

  • That's all you got? You're not a corporate whore. You're a retarded corporate whore, since you wrote a retarded/completely false paragraph about the difference between an investment and bailout. LOL.

  • the destruction or lessening of human life for money - a simple number with no intrisic value - is an act of collective insanity, which makes capitalism a mental as well as physical pathology.

  • It's only a collective insanity if you were to have no use for it. An individual collecting it to use to save a life or change a life, for example, certainly isn't an example of insanity. The worship of money is insane, the collection of it most certainly is not.

  • stop thinking so narrowly, it is annoying. Im speaking of the IDEOLOGY behind capitalism, not simply the collection of money. The IDEOLOGY of capitalism is pathology, because there is no physical link between the availability of resources and the availability of currency. I could print the equivalent of 100 trillion US dollars in every major currency and it will not change the total ammount of food or water on the earth.

  • I remember my first beer when I was your age too.

  • #1: YOU, personally, couldn't print currency because you most likely don't know how to and it's illegal to do so and you would eventually be caught. It is true that currency does not change the total amount of food or water available on earth but to base your argument on this rationale is meritless for the simple reason that currency DOES change the availability of food and water to particular segments of people. A poor person does not have the same access to these items that a rich person has.

  • Precisely, you have proven my argument. Because "..currency does not change the total amount of food or water available on earth.." yet "..currency DOES change the availability of food and water to particular segments of people." To allow a number with no intrinsic value to affect the lives of people through access to resources which there are plenty of is a definition of pathology. And please, when you were my age? I have a Ph. D in philosophy, which is why your excessively empirical

  • argument is so easy to disprove. I am still in shock that i am debating on youtube. I hope you have learned from my argument as i have learned from yours. Farewell.

  • Firstly, any previous comments I've made on here are more than a month old and I have no interest in looking them up to see what the discussion at that time was and with whom it was against. Secondly, I have no idea who you are. Thirdly, I have no idea what point you are trying to get across but it certainly doesn't interest me nor has anything to do with me. Fourthly, didn't you know everyone on youtube has a Phd? LOL. Your argument was meritless and served no purpose.

  • One last point is this: you keep mentioning that money has no intrinsic value - that is incorrect. Maybe you and your online PhD need to look up the definition of intrinsic but in any event, in the stock market, for example, the intrinsic value of money is backed by the market price of shares trading that are represented by the physical assets held against the total liabilities it owes.

  • the comment i replied to was 21 hours old, my ph.d was earned at a college graduate school, and debating you is a waste of time.

  • No, the comment you initially replied to was 1 month old and I couldn't care less where you obtained your PhD or if you even have one. If you feel that "debating" me is a waste of your time, then simply don't engage the debate.

  • How much MONEY did it cost you to receive your online PhD? It's always amusing when someone argues the validity of currency when he himself has relied on it to a large degree. Without it, it would be impossible for you to receive a PhD making your argument of whether currency has any intrinsic value meritless.

  • @capitalismforever A collection of anything, when it becomes more important then people is in fact insanity. You are putting some imaginary value on life that does not really exist accept in a collective mindset. Love, Peace, and compassion are all strengths that have a byproduct of wealth and well-being on people. You dont need to focus on aquring things, you just need to focus on helping people and whatever you need will be a byproduct of what you do.

  • @trinsic1 I absolutely agree with your statement. We have no disagreement in that.

  • Cato Institute is also a great libertarian think tank. Rupert Murdoch used to be a director at Cato. He helped de-regulated Wall Street. It's very easy for any corporation to get government welfare, thanks to Murdoch.

  • You're the 2nd biggest moron I've ever met. I have no more time for your psychotic rhetoric. I have stocks to trade. Good luck to you child. You need it. I bet you hear a lot of voices in your head.

  • LIAR. You have plenty of time. As I have said, this conservation has been going on for about 3 days. You keep responding. Thanks, corporate whore.

  • The first biggest moron you've ever met is probably your mommy. LOL.

Do I sound like someone who needs luck?! LOL. You probably didn't even know who Richard Berman is! FACT: I KNOW MORE THAN YOU. Gee...I wonder why I'm the one with the six figure job?! LOL. Cause I'm knowledgeable than you! WHAT ELSE?!

  • Capitalists favor a dog eat dog world where the gifted, clever and lucky are entitled to whatever they can get their hands on. And they will feast even if it break laws of ethics.

That is why America is a mixed economy.

  • No, capitalists favor a work in which one is empowered by goals. If one knows that he will never advance financially or otherwise by the amount of extra effort he puts forth, the actual amount of effort will remain stagnant. You take away goals and productivity follows suit. A simple fact of life starting from childhood that everyone can relate to. Somehow, you've forgotten that simple facet of life.

  • It starts out as "take out the trash or else you'll be in trouble". So, you take out the trash because a goal has been set. You do it and avoid risk. If it were "take out the trash whenever you get to it", especially in today's society, every child would ignore it and sit on their butts playing video games. Remove the goal, remedy, consequence, whatever you may call it, and you remove action.

  • There's a consequence, as rightly as there should be, to not paying your bills. "I can't because I have no money" is not an acceptable answer. You had money to buy that pack of cigarettes but no money for your bills. Sorry, you lose. You don't work, you don't eat. You borrow money for a big screen tv that you can't afford and you lose your job. It's nobody's fault but yours when you're asked to pay that bill. You shouldn't have purchased something you couldn't afford to begin with.

  • The lack of responsibility has greatly diminished the economy. Wall Street didn't create all this debt. YOU did. Now, since you can't pay the debts you owe due to spending money you didn't have in the first place, all of sudden you believe its Governments responsibility to pay for your debts. NO RESPONSIBLY. I for one refuse to cater to the needs of irresponsible people such as yourself. Why should I, who has worked hard to protect himself from adverse circumstances owe you anything? I don't.

  • The Church's main job was to provide for the poor and for many many years the population of poor in this country because of the Church's intervention was almost non-existent. The Government and its citizens advocated for a separation between Church and State and the Church stopped providing to the poor to the extent that it once had. And now people like you want to say, oh but wait - we still want a free hand out. Life doesn't work that way bubba.

  • There's no such thing as a free hand out. Do you pay tax? Do you use EPA-regulated water? Do you watch FCC-regulated television? The Church has not stopped providing to the poor because of separation of Church and State. I don't know what the fuck you are talking about. My local Church has a soup kitchen for poor people.

  • There's that adolescent language you use that most often reflects ones intellectual capacity. Its very prevalent in nearly all your writings and it makes me more appreciative of my upbringing every time I observe a classless person such as yourself.

Your comprehension skills are atrocious. I didn't say the Church has stopped providing. I specifically said it has stopped providing to the extent that it once had.

  • Your CHURCH does not represent every CHURCH IN AMERICA. Seperation of church and state HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LACK OF ABILITY OF YOUR CHURCH TO PROVIDE CHARITY WORK.

I just debunked all your statements and all you can do is say "You drank the cool-aid" or "Your comprehension skills are atrocious". Weak sauce.

  • How did you 'debunk' anything? Separation of church and state has everything to do with how the church interacts with society now. You lack history.

  • OMFG. The person who lacks history is accusing me of lacking history.

Separation of church and state is a legal principle derived from the First Amendment of the United States Constitution. It has nothing to do with charity! MY FUCKING LOCAL CHURCH IS STILL HELPING POOR PEOPLE. SO IS 90% OF THE REST OF AMERICA's CHURCHES. How can you call yourself a Christian when you lie all the time?

  • Wall Street didn't create all this debt?!! HAHAHAHA.

I refuse to cater to the needs of corporations. Why is it so easy for Goldman Sachs to get a bailout while idiots like us debate on whether we should give ourselves better health care?

Why should some people work so hard and not be able to afford health care? (since you acknowledge that there are two types of poor)

  • I was not in favor of the corporate bail out but to set you straight regarding Goldman Sachs, they're bailout did not come completely by way of the Government. #1 - Goldman Sachs neither needed nor asked the Government for TARP funds. The Government imposed those funds. If you didn't your homework and knew what you were talking about, you'd realize this. Now you've entered my world which is the world of investments. #2. Warren Buffettt put up $5 Billion of HIS money to bail out Goldman Sachs.

  • LOL. Omg, you know nothing about Wall Street, do you?

Goldman Sachs could have easily rejected TARP but they didn't, they took the tax payer's money. Ford Motors avoided TARP money and bankruptcy by astute management decisions.

Warren Buffet INVESTED in Goldman Sachs, you dipshit. Those were preferred stocks. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST.

  • I work directly with Wall Street so your statement is foolish and misinformed. Goldman Sachs could NOT have rejected the TARP funds. Matter of fact, NO bank was allowed to reject the TARP funds. Do your research. The actual documents regarding the situation of 2007 & 2008 have now been declassified. I suggest you educate yourself and read them. Of course, the average uninformed American will refuse to read what is readily available because of LAZINESS. A flaw that seems prevalent in you.

  • Goldman Sachs could reject TARP funds but they didn't. United Bankshares declined $197.3 million from the government.

Search on Google: "More Banks to TARP: Thanks, but No Thanks" from Wall Street Journal.

Farmer boy is now telling me to do the research. LOL.

  • You don't know how to do research. Its true regarding United Bankshares and many of the smaller banks. Some insurance companies such as Travelers refused TARP money. BUT, their cases were much different than Goldman Sachs. I won't spend that much time with you on this for a number of reasons. 1. It's frustrating to argue with an idiot. 2. I know this subject better than you know how to pump gas. 3. I can't supply links because youtube for whatever reason won't allow links to be typed.....>

  • TALKING TO A BRICK WALL.

Goldman Sachs could have easily rejected TARP. Instead, they hired lobbyists to convince the government for favors.

Why are you telling me to "do more research"? You're the one who thought Buffet was bailing out GS!!!!!!

  • Buffett did help bail out Goldman Sachs. I don't 'think', I know. That's why I'm listed as the #10 ranked investor out of 40,000 investors online at one of the highest regarded investment sites available to man. With over a 920% annual return, this is my area of expertise and obviously not yours. But I get the feeling you'd argue with a master chef on how to cook a steak.

  • Jesus fucking christ. Thats like saying Barclays is bailing out every company on the stock market (since they are one of the biggest institutional investors). Buffet invested in Goldman Sachs. You still won't give up on that? Freakin idiot.

  • And the Government "Invested" in every bank that received TARP funds. You call it "investing", I call it a 'bail out". There's no difference. Your pointless. You simply want to argue about anything and everything. You're a psycho. Warren Buffett helped BAIL Goldman Sachs out. It was also an INVESTMENT. The Government BAILED OUT Citibank. It was also an INVESTMENT because they own stock in citibank now. What is so difficult for you to understand that they are both the SAME THING.

  • Stock don't guarantee returns. Bailouts, you fucking have to pay them back under contract.

    IDIOT.

  • Goldman Sachs bailed Goldman Sachs. They spend millions of dollars lobbying the government. Hell, they have former employees in the government.

  • There was a conference in the very beginning between the U.S. Treasury, Federal Reserve, and the Big 8 which consisted of the 8 largest banks in America. They are: Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Citi, State Street, Bank of New York, Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley, & Goldman Sachs. These 8 Banks had no choice in the matter. They were forced to sign an agreement during the meeting before they could even leave the meeting. Google it, research it, the actual documents are declassified.

  • OMFG. I don't even know where to begin.

These 8 banks had choices just like UB and Ford. Do you even know how much banks spend to lobby the government each year?

    TALKING TO A BRICK WALL.

  • If you're talking to a brick wall, then you're talking to yourself. You're obviously a know-it-all and its most likely the reason why you're 'average'. I have no further time for you today.

  • EVERYTHING I JUST SAID IS TRUE. NOT JUST UNITED BANKSHARES,

You might think I'm the enemy. BUT I'M FUCKING HELPING YOU. But you refuse to even acknowledge that Wall Street is the problem. You just keep proving yourself as a corporate whore.

  • No, what you're saying is uneducated babbling. For the intellectual people that view our conversation, they will choose to look-up the information I've supplied and see that Goldman Sachs had no say in the matter.

  • Babbling? You just don't understand basic economics and externalities. You ARE A brick wall because you're the one whose obviously thinks he's a know-it-all but fails to even comprehend or debunk anything I previously mentioned. I'm not perfect but I'm 100% sure I know more than you.

  • There's nothing you've mentioned that warrants me wasting time to debunk anything. The only statements you've stated as 'facts' I've already proven otherwise. You psychotic ramblings need medication. Have a nice day.

  • Psychotic? LOL. TALKING TO A BRICK WALL.

It's not that you have no time to debunk, your tiny brain is just overwhelmed by my legitimate arguments.

  • An argument is only legitimate if it is backed by facts. So far, you've presented no facts and refuse to research the public documents I've listed. You get your information from a reporters hand written text rather than the ACTUAL physical documents that have been declassified and are public. A rational thinker can see right through you. You're obviously an angry average citizen with no experience.

  • Dude, you're the one who keep bringing bullshit facts like church, Thomas Edison, Buffet's bailout, etc.

Average citizen? LOL. Thats an excellent description of yourself.

  • Most of the uninsured is "I can't because I lost my job in this recession so I can't afford health care". Not everyone who is uninsured smokes cigarettes.

There's a lot of people who work day and night and still can't afford to health care. You're just going to neglect them, right?

  • Even if that child takes out the trash, it doesn't mean he's going to be rewarded. Capitalists think that if you work hard and save money, you will be okay. That is not what happens in today's society.

Life is like a video game. If you cheat, you are more likely to win.

  • Comment removed

  • The problems of laziness are clear in this country. What once used to be a $100 book, The Wealth of Nations now sells for about $20. Supply and Demand. Of the reverse order, which once was only a few dollars, How to avoid paying taxes sells for about $50.

More people are interested in looking how to get out of doing something rather than simply doing something and our economy is suffering from the ones who choose to ignore the ability to simply 'think'. This message board is a prime example.

  • You're an idiot. Laziness is clear? WTF? What once used to be $100, now costs 3x that amount. Health care premiums have skyrocketed!

Ofcourse, people are always trying to get out of doing something! Life is suppose to get better. John would rather use Microsoft Word than a typewriter. John would rather carpool with his friends than use his own car. John wants to save money so he chose a pubic school, rather than a private school. Is John lazy or is he just taking advantage of efficiency?

  • You wrote: "What once used to be $100, now costs 3x that amount."

My posting obviously went way over your head. It wasn't meant for you, it was meant for the thinkers which is clearly not you.

  • Corporate whore, all you do is call me loud mouthed and "went way over your head". You couldn't even untie your tight pussy and tell me if the Johns of this world are lazy or not.

You can't even debunk any of my statements.

  • You wrote: "You can't even debunk any of my statements."

I have no interest in taking on the task. I see nothing fruitful in debating with a complete moron. No good could come from it. The language you use is indicative of your adolescent intellect. My 16 year old son has more integrity and character than you do.

  • More like...nothing fruitful in debating with someone you simply don't like. Good always come out from debating. But you obviously treat your 16 year old son like shit since he won't be getting any of daddy's welfare.

  • My 16 year old son is well taken care of financially and otherwise. I suggest you stop worrying about Jay Z and others and start worrying about yourself, as well as stop depending on the government to take care of you and learn to be a man and take care of yourself.

  • Stop jerking off to David Archuleta. If you get raped, don't call the socialist-funded police. Stop watching FCC-regulated television. Stop using EPA-regulated water. If you don't like it, stop using our socialist system.

  • Sorry, America isn't a socialist country. Your playing with your imaginary buddies again.

  • HAHAHAHAH. Isn't a socialist country? I guess America's Social Security is not socialist enough for you. Public-funded projects are all part of our imaginary buddies, isn't it?

  • The United States is deemed as a 'Mixed Economy". It is neither Socialistic or Capitalistic.

  • Exactly. It's a mixed economy. It's not neither. It's both socialistic and capitalistic. It's more capitalistic because we rely heavily on the private sector and we have no universal health care.

  • Are you an advocate for socialism?

  • I'm an advocate for the three pillars -- free education, social security, and universal health care.

Bernie Sanders is a self-proclaimed socialist. I don't give a shit what you call it. If you don't like it, then stop drinking my EPA-regulated water and watching my FCC-regulated television. You depend on the government just like the rest of us. You just don't admit it.

  • What you fail to understand is that I don't depend on the Government. You and I are victims of circumstance. The Government didn't commission Edison to make the lightbulb, he just did it. To say the lightbulb wouldn't have existed without Government intervention is preposterous. Which came first, Communications or the FCC? Which came first Water or the EPA? The television doesn't need regulation in order to exist. You don't get it. It's over your head.

  • Your argument was just fucking stupid. Are you trying to tell that government welfare never helped invent anything?

Without government's welfare, we would not have polio vaccine. A lot of private and public universities in this country apply for government loans to support research. There are more than 700 government laboratories in the US, and they spend about $22 billion each year. Government is good for two things -- money and protection. You seem to not recognize the money part.

  • There's that language indicative of your intellect again. If you believe my examples were 'stupid' then don't ask me to elaborate on them. They are falling on uneducated and deaf ears. I have no interest in wasting time expanding on a topic you deem as stupid.

  • You're the one whose uneducated. O Thomas Edison blah blah blah blah. Fuck that shit.

Liar. Ofcourse you have interest in wasting time. This conversation went on for about 3 days. And so far, you haven't even debunk any of my statements.

  • I haven't debunked any of your statements because you say I haven't? LOL. Just because you can't comprehend what I'm saying doesn't negate what I've said :) Furthermore, your intellectual capacity, character, and integrity has more than been established by your use of profanity. You speak as the uneducated and ignorant speak.

  • All you do is say "You drank the cool-aid" and "Do more research". You haven't answered my John question.

You just said "You speak as the uneducated and ignorant speak" YOU SEE MOTHERFUCKER, THATS ALL YOU DO!!

  • "John" question? What are you talking about? I don't get it. Who's John and what question are you referring to?

  • capitlismforever? You're more like I don't know shit about capitalism...forever.

  • That's a good one. Did you take you the entire day to come up with that one? I bet if my 6 year old had a day to think of a coy little statement such as the one you've presented, most likely she could form a more coherent and intelligent sentence than that.

  • Is that all you got, corporate whore? Comparing me to a 6 year old? No wonder I make money than you. You can't even debunk any of my statements. You didn't even know United Bankshares rejected government welfare!!!! So much for intelligence!!!

It's like I'm taking to a brick wall.

With people like Sanders in office, life is going to get better in Americans. Resistance is futile. Only idiots like you are still living in 100 B.C.

  • The internet was a group project. This interconnection of the first unrelated networks was run by DARPA (gov't funded). Then the National Science Foundation (gov't funded) got involved and that lead to a three-tiered system of internetworks managed by a mix of universities, nonprofit organizations and GOVERNMENT AGENCIES.

  • And what does the internet have to do with our debate? Are you under the illusion that the internet would have never existed if it had not been for the Government? Just because it was created with Governmental assistance doesn't mean that it couldn't have been created without Governmental assistance.

Hong Kong has the internet. They are completely Government free. How is that possible?

  • WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE INTERNET DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH OUT DEBATE? You're the fucktard who mentioned that Edison "I invent lightbulb without welfare" bullshit.

Hong Kong is the worse example of all capitalist societies. The gap between the rich and poor have widen since 2000. Poor people can't vote in Hong Kong. Companies do it for them. No universal suffrage.

Norway, on the other hand, the government owns about 32% of all publicly-listed companies and they have all three pillars.

  • I suggest you educate yourself on Hong Kong. You've got a long way to go before you speak factually regarding its economy.

The citizens of Norway earn approximately $35,000 per year per capita. Not an outstanding income. The government of Norway has one of the largest oil reserves in the world. Had that oil reserve not been, the economy and governmental intervention climate would be much different. Norway is not an apples to apples comparison.

  • Wow. You couldn't even debunk anything I just said about Hong Kong. I don't have a long way to do anything. You have a long way to spend the rest of your life in misery.

FACT: Gap between the rich and poor in Hong Kong is growing.

FACT: American farmers don't know shit about Asian cities.

  • You keep telling me to stop depending on the government yet you depend on it so much yourself. Do you have a bank account insured by the FDIC? Do you eat food insured to be safe by the FDA?

Life is suppose to get better. You are obviously opposed to that. You can't even answer my robot question.

  • FDIC insurance was formed before I or you had a say in it. If my bank account was wiped out tomorrow, I'd still survive. I own property and lots of it.

  • Ofcourse you'll survive. Shelter and good health is really all that matters.

  • Wall Street has been pulling the strings of Washington ever since corporations were considered "people". Corporations get welfare. Ordinary people gets the tax bill.

We don't need to get rid of the gov't. We just need to clean the gov't.

"I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy of our monied corporations which dare already to challenge our gov't to a trial by strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country." - Thomas Jefferson

    Support the public option.

  • Yea, Thomas Jefferson was a hell of a guy wasn't he LOL...not really. What about the 25% who won't be covered? Every mom and pop business owner, the backbone of America, will not be covered under this plan. 25% of us who built this country get to watch a fat lazy assed welfare recipient receive healthcare while the mom and pops get nothing. How you like that? The healthcare plan will finish wiping out the middle class. This isn't about healthcare, it's much bigger than that.

  • The bill in Congress right now is bullshit but its something. It gets rid of pre-exisinting conditions, lowers deficit (In the U.S., health care costs run nearly $7,000 per person. But in Cuba, they spend around $251 per person), and covers more people. Public option, on the other hand, is run by the government. And Sanders approves of that.

According to capitalismforever, Gitmo prisoners are "smarter consumers".

In America, Goldman Sachs owns the government. LOL.

  • @ MrThecolorfulsung "According to capitalismforever, Gitmo prisoners are "smarter consumers"."

When did I say that? Resorting to making up complete BS because you are unable to intellectually debate your case? Sad.

  • You're nothing but a CORPORATE WHORE who thinks thats its okay for the government to give welfare to big corporations, rather than ordinary people.

Capitalist mentality: Those executives at Citibank are so hard-working, they totally deserve that bailout!!!! The American people are so lazy, they don't need bailouts, health care, or anything else. Lets get rid of the US military and pay Blackwater and Dick Cheney's KBR to secure our borders.

  • And you're one of those people who lacks any ability for logical thought but rather speculates as to what you believe someone is regardless if you know that person or not. Not the most intelligent approach. I, personally, do not believe its the governments job to provide a living to either its citizens or the corporations via the welfare system or by any other means. Furthermore, I've never worked for a corporation making your argument illogical, adolescent, and meritless.

  • I'm not one those people. But you're one of those corporate whores. No doubt about that.

You said: Maybe you should shop around instead of taking the first option presented to you. Or, you could complain about not having the same coverage that a "smart consumer" is getting for less than half the cost.

FACT: Prisoners at Gitmo have better health care than Americans. LOL. :) OMG.

In America, government doesn't make the rules. Wall Street does.

  • You said: I, personally, do not believe its the governments job to provide a living to either its citizens or the corporations via the welfare system or by any other means.

Read Article 1 Section 8 in the US Constitution.

Corporate welfare is legal. While the banks successfully obtain bailouts, the ordinary American folks are fighting with each over whether they should give themselves better healthcare or not. LOL.

  • Bailouts and corporate welfare will continue. You can't stop Wall Street....unless you're a socialist billionaire (oxymoron)

But universal health care is always pushed aside. Gee...I wonder why. Maybe its because of idiots like you who think the uninsured are just "lazy" and it has nothing to do with the fact that they lost their jobs and health care benefits in this recession. CORPORATE WHORE!!!!!

  • There you go again. Calling someone an 'idiot' that you've never met or even had a conversation with. You're just not worth my time as you serve no interest to me. You've got a mental deficiency that I don't associate with. In prevents you from happen an intelligent discussion. Go see a doctor then come back.

  • You don't want me to call you an idiot. You think I have mental deficiency.

Thats like saying "STOP CALLING ME AN IDIOT, YOU IDIOT. LOL. What a fucking joke.

Go suck on Riley Bechtel's cock, you know...the guy who owns the Fremont Group which has ties with Bin Laden. CORPORATE WHORE!!!!!!!

  • That's not the case at all. I'm a doctor and it's my professional opinion that you suffer from a mental deficiency. You are not normal and you've got an anger problem. You were not raised with a strong foundation otherwise you would not be speaking to a complete stranger with such aggression. When you receive your doctoral degree, you can give your 'professional' opinion.

  • You also just set up this account a few days ago. I speculate that you most likely had an account that was closed recently because you spend a large amount of your time being aggressive with people online whom you don't even know. Pathological in nature. No more need to waste further time on you. Good luck to you child. I pity you. You're clueless.

  • Previously you said: "You're just not worth my time as you serve no interest to me."

Yet, now know you decide to reply back. Did I hurt your boo-boo feelings, corporate whore? It's a fact that when people get older, they get more conservative. It's also a fact that when people get older, they get more dumber.

Clueless. I love that movie. Bechtel was not in that movie though. Good luck with your life, it's not like you're making more money than me. And you're the one supporting capitalism! :)

  • I promise you young man, I most likely make in a month what you make all year. I'm a professional investor. I know more about the subject of corporate laws and regulations than you'll ever dream. Now go back and eat your McDonald's drive through while you complain about corporations :)

  • You see, while my Wall Street employer keeps getting millions of government subsidies/contracts everyday, Main Street idiots like you are fighting with other people on Main Street over whether you should give yourselves better healthcare.

  • I've got the best healthcare money can buy and I'm paying for it with the money that I earn because I'm not lazy, greedy, and I don't complain about things I don't have. It's probably why I have everything - because I'm not afraid of work.

  • You think every uninsured person in America is lazy, greedy, and complain about things? There are plenty of hard-working folks out there who spent years at their employer and were laid off because of the recession. They lost health care benefits. They lost everything.

More proof that you're nothing but a close-minded corporate whore.

  • You wrote: "You think every uninsured person in America is lazy, greedy, and complain about things?"

No, I never said that at all and I'm not interested in conversation with you. You're unable to hold a conversation without the use of expletives and adolescent behavior. It bores me and I have no room for it in my life. I was raised better.

  • Raised better? You probably went to a socialist-funded public school like the rest of us! You weren't raised better, you were raised as a Social Darwinist, if like it or not.

Sure, survival of the fittest is relevant but we are living in the 21st century. Life is suppose to get better as time goes by. You advocate the opposite of that.

  • "You probably went to a socialist-funded public school like the rest of us!"

No, I actually grew up on a farm and went to a 'country school' and had a class room of a whopping 17. I grew up in the country, a place your soft hands couldn't survive pansy city boy.

  • Haha. Grew up on a farm and probably screwed over by the system. I know for sure you're not making any more than six figures like me. Country school? Your country school was funded by the government. Did you go to college? Did you take the socialist SAT?

You work your ass off on a farm for nothing. You will never overcome the tyranny of Monsanto and Tyson Foods.

  • You know for sure that I'm not making more than six figures? Is that right? We've never met, we've never had a legitimate conversation face to face, and there is nothing about my background that you know about but you state that you know for sure. :) The only thing that you should know for sure is that your intellectual capacity for rational thought is nearly non-existent. The old country school that I attended was paid for in the same fashion that a private school is paid for.------

  • Matter of fact, the first private schools in America were country schools. They were paid for by the parents of the children who attended because they weren't able to get 40 miles into town every day to attend the public school. Dad was too busy working on the farm starting at 4 AM. Furthermore, the farm that I now own is worth more than you'll probably ever accumulate in your lifetime in itself. Not to mention that I run an investment firm on the side :) Being presumptuous has made many an ass.

  • Ofcourse early schools were private. Women and black people couldn't go to schools!!!! Schools were like a fucking goddamn commodity. It was a luxury to be educated.

Now, everyone gets to go to school regardless of financial situation. Health care should be the same.

  • I don't need to meet face to face. I work for a corporation that has been screwing with local farmers since the corporation was founded. Maybe you've heard of it. It's called ConAgra.

I'm pretty sure you don't make any more than six figures. Do you really think Warren Buffet is going to have a screename called capitalismforever?

  • My name isn't Warren Buffet and I couldn't care less what you believe. The world doesn't revolve around you and what you believe. Whether you believe or disbelieve doesn't effect by wallet in the least. If you want to talk about hypocrisy, I find it interesting that you claim to work for a corporation that has been "screwing with local farmers". That says a lot about you :)

  • Ofcourse the world revolves around what I believe. Every industrial nation except the United States has universal health care. IDIOT. LOL.

I love my six figure job and I love the fact that whores like you support my corporation. Thanks. I know on first account how corrupt Wall Street is. But thankfully, I know ethics. Thats why I support Bernie Sanders.

  • You wrote: "Life is suppose to get better as time goes by. You advocate the opposite of that."

No, I don't advocate any such thing. You simply are a loud mouthed individual that likes to speak for everyone and who doesn't even know me.

I advocate that people get off their lazy asses and stop relying on the Government to improve their lives. I advocate that the governments sole position is to protect, not serve.

Unlike, I know this country's history and why government was put in place.
