Update: The case finally went to court and the officer did not show up. The case was dismissed.

Next time they get up on your bumper.......lock em up and let them buy you a new bumper......Gosh officer, didn't you see that squirrel that I almost hit? They are not immune to traffic law and anyone who hits you from behind is not observing proper separation......

A police officer riding your bumper is not normal police behavior. There seems to be some validity to this mans claim. I wouldn't just discount it.

I can understand having a suspicion about someone's actions, but there doesn't appear to be any hard evidence to support this man's claim from his own admission.

So, this guy got pulled over and receives a legit ticket. The cop didn't say anything about his bumper sticker, mind you. After some time, his wife was momentarily tailed by a cop, but was NOT pulled over. And he REALLY thinks that the he was being harassed for his bumper sticker? I had a Ron Paul bumper sticker on my car since right after the election, and not once have I been pulled over.

As a Campaign for Liberty member, I am embarassed that this idiot represents us to the world.
