Why did they need the crane on the right?

To keep the truck under control so it didnt fall too fast after the first crane picked it up

Yeah, it was very nicely lifted...no more damage done... it was a finnish truck, young driver going too fast in a ramp...in end of the ramp it was knocked over...full of german beer, the smell was wonderful, but didnt get any... ;)
