I do not know why I was marked down for a comment based on an accurate observation, lol. Momochi did absolutely dominate Daigo...Some people are so militant with their fandom. I also dislike Ryu users in general, but that is another story :P

@meaning1 Not really, although they're close. End of 2008, they had 3 to win round casuals. It end with 2-2. Daigo got Momochi at GodsGarden1 but Momochi won in a close match at NSB13 "Daigo vs Japan". So it's kinda tied.

@killerguam he did not. they didnt play 1st to 3. it was casuals, and those were random games thrown together to look like sets by the uploaded. if you look at the start of every game they played, it always said daigo had x wins, never momochi. i believe in set 3, daigo had 13 wins. now no 1 knows if all those wins were winner stays on, or all against momochi. either way people need to stop making up stuff as they go along. momochi's akuma was never better than daigo's ryu. same level i'd say

holy shit, these matches were excellent. Momochi is every bit Daigo's equal - Daigo's better with the ultra links, Momochi's great with the focus attack. both have those tight Ryu links down (especially those cr. mp combos). I fully support Momochi dropping his turtling Akuma for this offensive Ryu.

No, he won't. He has been playing both characters since the beginning - I think he initially even played with Ken sometimes.

He is, in fact, playing Ryu less than he used to - he had over 140.000 BP with Ryu as evidenced by the pre-fight screen but lost lots of points due to decay.

You can do two things:

1) predict the crossup and do the DP motion the other way as fast as possible, or

2) You can do a half circle motion (the exact input would be f, d, d/b + p) so that the first part of the motion is done while your character is still in the front, and the down/back actually turns into d/f when the character jumps over you.
