im sure it has happend there was a show on about people who go lost there and had to get to water but after walking for days they finaly got to the river but had to climb down the side if they wanted to live because they havent had water for a long time so im sure there has been other people who have fell

Sure, I've been on plenty of trails in the canyon where one wrong step is life or death, people slip or make mistakes, usually new hikers, not experienced backpackers. It's much more common for people to die of dehydration than a fall.

We just came back from Arizona and went 2 the Skywalk. Was alright. We've just realized our family was the ONLY ONE that dare took our 3 yr. old daughter! lol To this and the Grand Canyon. Believe me do not do unless you want to run after her everywhere. Big Blunder on OUR part...lol
