This is not, I repeat NOT the band's second live performance ever. The bands third performance ever took place on November 4, 1995 at the cactus club in San Jose, California. This video was shot on December 15, 1995 at the live 105. Green Christmas concert in Berkeley California. I attended both concerts in 1995. I still have the set list that I took from Matt Sharp's keyboard at the November 4 show. These facts are absolutely indisputable. My guess is that this concert is there 10th
haha i always thought moshing only happened in metal concerts. but it's better than just standing there like someone else said, i have seen that happen too many times
i'm sure ppl used to go up on stage during bleach tour. i've only seen the videos, the moshing looked awsomme, like everybody just pulsating and bouncing, i've never been to a nirvana concert, but saw weezer twice. the moshing was ok to good. this band is so much better than anything out now
You have to admit, on Weezer's Troublemaker tour, they really were in tact with the audience. They know how to entertain. But, I still miss the wicked shy Rivers that would just stand with his shoulders really high and sing.
NO WAY!!! I just noticed WOW... You are right! Its funny cause I always loved Maya on SNL :o) .... I would have never thought it was her!! THANKS GUSTAVMARIE!!!
bouncers are perpetually and forever looking stupid... not just like dicks, but like dicks who think that everybody would LIKE to rush the stage, if only that big man were giving that ice-cold stare like "don't even think about it." like the whole world is intimidated by that goofy "no-go" look.
Please tell me if you want to hear the following on the next Rentals record:
1 - Arpeggiated Wurlitzer electric piano a la Supertramp
2 - Overwrought progressive-rock style time signatures/bridges
3 - Vocoders and guitar talkboxes a la Peter Frampton

I love Matt Sharp but the Rentals didn't exactly warrant a mosh pit.

the best concerts were the ones where you could climb on stage, and the moshing is about fun not macho. are there any shows like that now.
byageel 3 years ago
Just go to small clubs, you can get up in the stage all the time.
I think I remember Nirvana used to let people up on the stage during the Bleach club touring.

isaiah2009 4 years ago
Why are those losers moshing?
FQRS 4 years ago
Seriously! I was thinking the same thing, that I never really thought of this as a Mosh song!
Graydon902 3 years ago
I think you answered your own question when you referred to them as "losers".

LOL. Yeah, only a certain kind of person runs around in circles throwing their arms around.
