  • The best part of this was... Oh sorry, that was for my homework... Who cares if they r racist or not, They arent, Look at what Richartl wrote :P

  • i know right, i also keep watching these asian movies with no white people, racist japanese and chinese.

  • just to piss you off i wish that golem was black.

  • The Uruks are black...

  • how do we know if the tree was white or not

  • I think it should be how Lord of the Rings is* racist. In the Begining.

  • this video made me laugh.

  • Why should every fantasy world have black population? Only because United States have? Middle-earth is not U.S. Its a different world.

  • THIS VIDEO IS FALSE. THE NAZGUL, AKA THE RIDERS, WERE INDEED BLACK!

  • how your racist. you only point out black peaople are missing when you forgot asians.

  • I think racism simply exists only because people talk about it and ''try to prevent it''. If everyone'd just shut up everything would be okay. Yes we are different -.- we all are. I also didn't see anyone with green eyes in the movie that must be racist. Skin color eye color whats the difference -.-

  • @Mostwantedo not trying to be a jackass, but there were people with green eyes. lots of people. lol

  • HAHAHAH this guy just made this video so that he could say the N word at the end. white folks these days.

  • There were no individuals with black skin in Middle Earth those days. But they did have their own regions further south. (No racism intended)

  • The best part is you people, discussing this cute joke for 5 years already :))

Meanwhile the dude made around $50 000....

  • The best part about this is the yoshi theme playing.

  • so we have to throw black people into every movie ( including fictional)to show there not racist?do we go saying THERES NO WHITE PEOPLE IN THIS MOVIE,RACIST. lets go my crackers

  • I guess you don't know the definition of racism.

  • Didn't you know? In middle Earth there were no such thing as black people, Just goblins, orcs, and other wondrous creatures.

  • No wonder why the movie was so good

  • there where no black vikings duh

  • You people responding negatively to this are hilarious, This is obviously meant to troll you. As in the person who made this wasn't being serious.

  • sauron was black only a black man could be that epic (extremely racist comment here)

  • ooh, that could be why i enjoyed this movie so much.

  • @PlanetaJuegosPC hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha hahahaha i love you

  • @MrXassassin oh yes, i know you do $: haha

  • there wernt black people in there relm

  • oke there are no black peaple in the movie if the were in it they would be slaves and thats more recist than this so stfu

  • @ARJmovies hahahaha i

  • uruk hai was black actually :D

  • there is one ranger in the movie that is black

  • Reason why they are all white is because the people on different continents are separated. There isnt any mixing between haradrim, southerners, or easterlings with the people of middle earth, not because they think that wouldnt be pure, but because on arda, races stick to their continents and dont live in other ones.

  • @RichartI Technically its the mid ages isn't it ?

  • you're a retard. Whether this was a joke, or you're serious.... You're a retard.

  • so they are now obligated to put black everywhere , im not fucking racist , but if black dont want us in their films its ok , and its the same for us , so stfu you fag

  • They're not black but some aren't fucking white either

  • Orcs are black.. ;) .l.

  • If this is a joke, it is fun. If not, it is rediculous. The reasons are too obvious, and I do not think I really need to state them.

  • whats this song from?

  • The Witch King and Sauron seemed pretty black to me...

  • if you're white and marry a white women and have a white son does it make you rasist ??

  • @jidinyuki1992 Liberals seem to think so. ;)

  • The actor who played the lead Uruk-hai lieutenant was black

  • You're an idiot.

  • the funniest thing i have watched in ages.

  • I think I just got trolled

  • The mercenaries to the south were of brown-skinned... the orcs technically were black/brown..

  • All the orkses were black...

  • the orks were mainly big Maori guys. oh and before u try saying thats a racist comment...I'm Maori.

  • actually the actor of the wichking was black o.Ô

  • Read the book, does it describe any Black characters?

  • Isnt the Orks black?

  • Awkward moment when Shelob is black.

  • Multiculturalism is relatively new historically speaking. This really began with the first country of immigrants: USA. In medieval times, it was uncommon to have many races in one society. Even in Roman times races and ethnicity that were not ancient Italian or Greek were usually slaves. So anytime a historical movie about Europe shows a black person in a high position of power, its mostly for political reasons, and in no way represents the time accurately. But LOTR? I dont know, kinda sketchy

  • just cuz a movie dosnt have a certain type of ppl in it doesn't make it racist

  • Comment removed

  • the haradrim were black

  • that ringwraith looked pretty black

  • orcs? :D

  • Super Mario for Super Nintendo :DD

  • how you were a paranoic dumbass, lotr was made by the british, not americans

  • always thought that this dumb american tradition to but a black guy in every movie was actually way more racist than not having one. All this "positive discrimination" crap is just retarded. All movie casts are made of human beings, period. forget about colors for fuck sake. And stop using the word 'race', too. There's only one race, and that would be the human race. Calling other colors a different race is the first definition of racism.

  • The orcs are mexican

  • not just black was int there

  • Technically, Orcs are black!

  • Who gives a shit still epic films!!

  • i happen to know from personal experience that both Sauron AND several ring wraiths are black beneath all their armor. There's even a latino wraith :)

  • If you actually watched the films they set sail for Afrika at the end.

  • blacks want black character in LOTR? Yea, actually there is one character who should be black... it's smigol

  • werent some of the Haradrim black skinned??

  • its based in Medieval europe, there were no black people.

    Orcs=Ottoman

    gondor=austria

    rohan=polish

  • @oldtimer68x That is absolute bull ...

  • @oldtimer68x no. Tolkien created a world, period. Based on Norse mythology, where of course there were no black people.

  • 0:46 lol... im not ravist for saying that, am i?

  • How are the Nazgûl not black? They are CALLED "the black riders!" You fail on so many levels

  • shame.... the urukhai were black.... my friend played the lead urukhai and he is maori

  • I know this is a joke lol.

But it is based in Medieval England, there were No black people.

  • there are about as many black people in lord of the rings as there are in russia. none

  • haha the spider

  • 0:34 if that's not black then I think I'm colour blind

  • Actually, there are no black people, because the characters in the story never visted the continent which would have, later on, become Africa. "Middle earth" was actually supposed to be regular ass Earth, just thousands of years before history.

  • orcs, nasgul, shelob are black...i suppose its cos they are the bad guys..or maybe its because darkness is assosciated with evil and has fuck all to do with the colour of someones skin? you are an absolute retard for a) thinking that the BLACK RIDERS arent black and b) thinking that its racist because there are no black actors. you sir are a moron.

  • the one at 37 and 38 were black...

  • Suck .......... who cares!

  • The Uruk-hai were black... they were the bad guys, but hey that's just a coincidence ;)

  • Do you understand the meaning of racist? It means making fun of another color of yours. Your an ass hole for putting this up because the book was wrote that way and they found actors that were good enough for the part. You are racist for thinking that. Besides its a wonderful movie. YOU. ARE. A. REATARD.

  • But all the ogres are black people. Oh wait, i'm not helping am I?

  • the spider is pretty black

  • Comment removed

  • lol sauron at the end

  • I would welcome a remake in which at least the human characters would show at least some level of diversity, subtly emphasizing the fact that there are different subtypes of human beings.

  • Well, I think the real problem is the following:

In the original story as far as I can remember, Tolkien briefly mentions blacks from the south, but they are all with Sauron! Besides, in a letter written by him to someone, he describes orks resembling to mongolians of the least lovely type. I don't think Tolkien was racist, just not considerate enough.

On the other hand, it is fantasy, which does not need to have anything in common with reality. (So not even diversity of the real world.)

  • sauron is not black? ... orks aren't black?

  • LOTR isn't set in Africa, East LA, Alabama or London...hence no black people...you cannot re-write a story just to pander to some "Old Man River" political correctness agenda...to do so would be like filming Roots with an all white blonde cast...

  • Ah, yes, so we should flood a story based on Anglo-Saxon culture with things from all four corners of the world for the sake of political correctness?

  • @Tranxhead Can I get an Aaaaaaay-men!

  • Some of the stunts were black ;-)

  • If you look at the time period this was based in, the only black people that might possibly be around would be slaves, if any at all.

  • How do you know Sauron isn't Black?

  • what does it matter if there isn't any black guys (or girls since you're obviously oversensitive) don't be a bitch. Surely putting a single black guy in for the sake of equality is more racist?

  • SUPER MARIO UR TIME IS RUNNING UP LOLOL

  • Gandalf was grey.. thats half black right?

  • @OleNieling then he became white.

  • @zorokism Kinda like Michael Jackson then.. he was hanging out with little people also..

  • Niggerssssssssssss

  • 12.284 ppl did not get it

  • all the good guys are white an all the bad guys are black i think this can relate to the real world as well

  • this is really lame...

  • There are alot of black elves

  • lol. I hope this was meant to be a joke, otherwise Greek mythology AND history is racist, as well as Viking/Nord lore, and Japanese and Chinese lore, all because they have mostly their own people in it... pretty much anything that is based in its own country belongs to it's own country and doesn't mean it's racist if it doesn adapt/bring things in from around the world. sad really, to be looking for ways to ruin anything and everything with stupid comments/videos like this.

  • @HazaRDReBorn of course it's a joke. why would he put mario music in if it was serious haha

  • Maybe because black people did not exist in the middle ages yet?

  • Because... Tolkien is not from America?

  • I'm saying pics at 0:23, 0:34, 0:37, 0:38 are all black members lol

  • Wouldn't it be even more racist if Golum was black?

  • They needed everyone (most ppl) to survive, and black ppl always die in movies

  • Oh just wait until you see Gimli without pants, then you'll realize he's black.

  • Careful! YOU BETTER get a health pack for your video!!!!!

  • How could you possibly tell whether the Witch King or the Nazgûls are black...

  • @TheOfficialRhizuud because they used to be kings. when the fuck has there EVER been a black king?

  • @istarteverywar in Africa...

  • @TechGeek95 an african king is called a negus. so no, there were no kings in africa. only negus. ;-)

  • oh come on the orcs where black-ish blue Shelob was black plus the Black Riders, the troll was black and the Balroc was definitely black (you know scorch flesh and all)...oh wait you meant nobody was African (or variations there upon)

  • How the uploader of this Video is racist?

He totally forgot about Asians not being in the movie, only focused on Black...

  • Mother Earth is for Everyone. We all have equal rights.

  • well... the orcs are white in a way... :-(

  • alright some of those you cant be sure of

  • @Fdatulyin Get your fucking black raging ass out of here.

  • the orcs are black

  • the ocr was black so in your face

  • So just because there was no black or Asian people in the movie makes it racist? Well clearly, you don't know what racism is.

  • Nah it was even more racist, orcs and Sauron were played by black actors... lol

  • @lescossc No, they were played by Kiwi's. The majority being white.

  • So what, the Black Gate and Black Riders, they don't count?

  • LOTR is so fucking good because of no niggers!

  • the ending...oh man, dude get a life...

  • p.s you do know the the urak hai were all new zealanders - maori..........just in case you didn't know...

  • 0.37 CLEARLY blacker than most characters in the films... yes, the Uruk Hai, not fucking treebeard

  • well some where black like the spider and the skeleton with the hood

  • If trolls, orcs, Balrogs, or whatever were actual races, then this video would make more sense.

  • get over it you fucking crybaby's.

  • also the urukhia looks black

  • i think there was a black guy at 0:23

  • what about the DARK lord sauron?

  • In defense of LOTR, I'd assume that everyone in the film had a very close genetic background, considering how geographically close they all were. Not to mention, in Middle-Earth they would've been quite a bit more geographically isolated than other areas, considering the fact that they didn't have transportation technology that we do.

  • excuse me, what color would u call shelob?

  • Pretty sure the orcs are. Oh wait, that IS racist!

  • May be the movie was racist. But you are the only one who loosed his time searching who is black. So, you are racist, aren't you ?

  • 0:23 Not black.. It's red, obviously..

  • this is nothing, what about crouching tiger hidden dragon?not. one. single. Australian. filmmakers need to be made accountable for racist propaganda like this.

  • 0:34 Morderkasier

  • It's all based on Celtic and Norse myths. I highly dout there were any African, East Asian, Middle Eastern, Hispanic, and Indian people in Britain and Norway so it make sence that there's no other ethic races other then germanic peoples in this movie.

  • I've seen the video, but it doesn't explain how LOTR is racist? It just lists the skin color of some of the actors..

There is some racism in fantasy though. Some races are good and pure (elfs) and some are evil (orcs).

  • 0:37, I'd say that's black...

  • seems legit........................

  • 0:23 How can you tell?

  • dude your a retard

  • aahahhahhaha best ending ever thumbs up if u like

  • how can lord sauron be counted as black or white u never seen his face
