Ok. I am the guy in the video. I started the video after the 5.8. I was in central Christchurch in feb and saw things I would rather forget. I am currently having counciling to help get over the quakes. When we had the 6 I had fa flash back from feb and honestly thought it was worse than it actually was. I knew it was being filmed but was not playing to the camera at all. I was in shock. I can appreciate that some people see it as acting and Ieven I cringe at my over reaction. I put th

@jayandolly Hi there, I wrote the post about thinking you were acting, it wasnt because you were swearing or screaming and sounded fearful, believe me I have done the same, I also know good friends who are still seeking counseling, sorry for offense, but to me it sounded like acting, I thought this because you looked directly at the camera, and it didnt sound like you were in fear, and you uploaded it to youtube. Now I know some people react to fear in this way,

but this was worst acting than Rob Schneider in a

Adam Sandler movie, and IMHO worse than those videos of the teens making light of the situation.

It seems the poster wanted to have his video go

viral and get on the telly, and he used an aftershock

to do so, heres hoping in 100 years time, youtube somehow

deletes this video and the videos that are left are the

ones with the real reactions to the tragic and awful

year that Christchurch has had.

I can't believe this video has people commenting telling each other to fuck up etc. Yeah I must admit its pretty funny, he runs for the TV because he probably waited 10 months for EQC to pay him out, his swearing is overboard but he may have been in the CTV building when Feb 22 hit so his reactions are something we can't get all uptight about and judge him on. Being a Chch resident, I think it's comforting seeing videos like this and think it'd be good to see more reactions & footage on camera.
