Those groups are all groups who were gradually dominated and subjugated by the Spanish crown over the centuries, and they've had their languages, culture and political systems stripped from them in favour of a "spanish" identity which doesn't even really exist. Spain, like much of Europe, is an artificial nation made up of people who have no business being part of the same country really.

Why don't the Spanish keep thier noses out? These people are Old Europeans, different to the Iberians. I suppose though its like the Cornish in England - though they don't kick up as much as a fuss, if they did though I would support them as, once again, they have thier own language and ways. A Europe of regions would be a good solution in my opinion - not the EU though! Let the different regions have thier own laws and traditions but all working together - Imperium Europa have the right idea.
