I was simply citing my own personal experiences ( I was an atheist at one point in my childhood due to the horrors of foster care leaving me spiritually broken , I was one of the lucky few who regained my faith but I understand most atheists are far too broken emotionally to regain their faith and I accept that ) .

I am simply saying that in my personal experience and research , I`ve found emotional traumas that make it impossible for one to believe in the supernatural are amongst the most common . I am also well aware it can work the other way as well , traumas leading even avowed atheists to turn to religion ( usually Christianity ) . There is always the common need to prove the other wrong, which really just causes all this chaos. For example, The Bible says that it is the genuine religion. So I don't know where "Jesus hates religion" came from. But your problem is that you underrate religion in whole and overrate atheism. Look up the definition of religion, and you will know you have one too. It is a set of beliefs and you have them.

Even with evolution you have to assert things to make it work- there isn't a known mechanism for it. You also BELIEVE that there is no God, but it hasn't been proven that there isn't. @daddysprincess5683 The first mistake you made is say that when stars die, they explode and make molecules. Stellar evolution would be stars coming literally from NOTHING by Quantum Mechanics. The foundation of this is the belief that there is nothing outside of nature- therefore nature MUST'VE created itself. This is not a stable argument though. It's assumptions stacked upon assumptions- doesn't make it automatic science- especially when they skip the scientific method.

The "they" you are talking about is the same scientist who condemned the Bible out of faith. Since the reason why the world has so many unusual geology changes, is that proof to you the Bible must be true? Absolutely not, so even if the reasons for them "could" happen, it doesn't make it anymore proof than the GREATER possibility that God could've created us.

FOr example. Black holes, people have told you they existed, while I don't deny their existence, there are other secular scientist who do. Just like the concept of time (which I don't believe). It may or may not exist.

@CrownedGD I am on my last semester of earning my computer science bachelors degree at University of Maryland, and having taken other science classes, such as astronomy, validate what you're saying. Things like the big bang theory is exactly what it is, a theory. It has been "validated" as proven, but it's only validated from radio waves sniffed from what we can see from our small, localized position in the universe. It is totally plausible that these radiowaves could be from anything!

I've studied it myself and have come to the same conclusion as you. I can either believe in God or the BBT. Now black holes I assume exist but the Higgs Boson, is totally faith based to save the stellar evolution theory- so is Quantum Mechanics.
@gdrocell I do believe in Jesus, firmly. There is also at least 9 secular sources of Jesus's existence that are legit. Theres about 40 in all. But if you are talking about non-biblical sources there are only 9. I actually like science. It's so cool to learn more and more things about it. The only thing I find myself avoiding when studying science in a secular community is biased assumptions about the facts that were found.

I was an agnostic going down the path to have hate for God because it seemed that He was not helping me. It was only when I let down my pride and let Him change me that I became a Christian. It didn't help to keep questioning Him while not looking for an answer. If there is no God, there is no key to our existence. We simply would not be here.

I am simply saying that in my personal experience and research , I`ve found emotional traumas that make it impossible for one to believe in the supernatural are amongst the most common . There is always the common need to prove the other wrong, which really just causes all this chaos. The foundation of this is the belief that there is nothing outside of nature- therefore nature MUST'VE created itself. This is not a stable argument though. Things like the big bang theory is exactly what it is, a theory. It has been "validated" as proven, but it's only validated from radio waves sniffed from what we can see from our small, localized position in the universe. It is totally plausible that these radiowaves could be from anything!

But if you are talking about non-biblical sources there are only 9. I actually like science. It's so cool to learn more and more things about it. I don't agree with torture of animals either, and I don't know anyone who tortures animals that they plan on eating. I'm sure they exist... But there is a big difference between harvesting/butchering and "torturing".

4 years i was lost and in a state were i believed but didn't care for God and it wasn't till 6 months ago that i found what i was looking for and that was Christ i was a druggie and addicted to porn I'm still tempted ever day but god makes it so much easier and i encourage everyone to except Christ because until you realize that its him who pleases us you won't be happy getting high didn't last and cost money and porn was in the moment followed by regret but god always satisfies and never ends

Atheist really have nothing against Christians. I'm sorry that you feel the way you feel about God and stuff but if you see through our eyes that we have found love. We don't worship a cruel God that banishes us to Hell for everything, we have a God that loves us enough to die for us. The accusations of Christianity being "corrupt" or whatever comes from human beings, we are no God. We have free- will (as told in the Bible, if you read it) and WE make the mistakes.
