Snoop Dog did a song with Robyn who is Swedish. I really liked that song called, U Should Know Better. But maybe he was just trying to get a piece of the pie, though I do think he sounded pretty smooth.
I totally agree with you on this... I hate it when american artists like Snoop Dog like you said, just collabarate with random people just to get money out of it...
And same here, SNSD isn't my favorite group, but like you said, IF Snoop Dog is gonna be in their remix, they're probably gonna make loads of other remixes of The Boys which will eventually die out and go POOF... But what really pisses me of is when other artists (Like Snoop Dog 4 example) expose K-Pop just to get money out of it...
If any rapper is going to be appearing on SNSD's album or any K-pop album then I will staying VERY far away from it. It is yet another "formula" for turning interesting music into trash music.

The Boys wasn't great; Trick was 697539762973593543857 times better than The Boys.
That should have been the promotional single.
However, who really gives a shit if Snoop Dogg is taking place in the remix. If they want to get some recognition in the States, they need to take what they can get. They aren't going to have to make more than one remix because even if they don't make it big in the US, it's no big deal because they are at the top in SK. This is business.

I actually loved The Boys xD It was the only SNSD release I ever anticipated, it made me a SONE. I'm pretty sick of SM right now though, they're gonna repackage this album three times and they're acting like it's something new just bc they put a new title and cover on it (and I'm like, SM your money hunger is showing >_>). And I'm worried about Snoop being on this track...he may have been relevant 10+ years ago, but nowadays having him on a track is just...no. >_>
Personally, I liked The Boys as an album, yes it was MUCH weaker than their past work, but some of the songs were catchy and fun. But I do agree with you, I am sick and tired of the song, I'm disappointed in them overall. They need to make a change, take a chance with their music, maybe go a little darker with the sound and a little deeper with the lyrics. Because all of the girls are so talented, but they're just wasting their talent on these fluff songs.
